Ok so i cant tune the mines ecu?? or are they just to hard to play with?

ok thinking about changing my ecu so ive done some snooping on my rs260 and what i found was that on my ecu theres a garantee plaque on it from mines (number 5063) and also a sticker with the barcode from Hitachi ltd with a nismo sticker below that. Does that meen its a nismo ecu and mines are the tuners.. My camera doesnt like me today so ill get photos up when i can.. Also on another note checked my turbos and they have garrett stamped on the side my question is are the stock turbos garrett or are they after market.. I know they are noob questions but any help would be great...

s1 my bad i only saw your ass end as you passed me.. And yer thats me.. last night was 2.5km of fast lane closure so some f/wit engineer could inspect the lane line because it wasnt "sparkly enough" for him, that big a set up so a ute can drive along heating up two 30m sections of the line and throw some glass bead on to it.. The roads 1000 times better than it was but unless they get organised on what work needs to be done and in what order(or do the job right the first time) theres going to be more pissed off drivers and even bigger set ups.. On a good note thanks for slowing down to 40km/h not to many people do and it can get kinda scary with all those trucks and cars flying passed at 110km/h+ just shows who the hoons realy are..

ok so they want to lower the road toll how about a red light camera on every intersection and a speed camera on every road in australia that way theres no excuse for speeding... Or instead of spending the revenue on stupid pinky shaking advertisments how about they start drivers ed in high schools get some crash victims in there scare the shit out of the kids show them what their actions can do to others aswell as mandatory advanced driving courses as part of your l's then a refresher course and a basic skills test every 3-5 years to keep everyone up to date with new road rules, because if you spend enough time on the road you will see most of the rules are broken by people with a full licence not some dumb young p plater.. Educate people not to speed instead of just limiting what they can and can't drive..

On another note the fine for running a yellow light is the same for running a red, a yellow is a warning to stop unless unsafe to do so...

Just my two cents but for your first car ide go out and get a cheap reliable 4cyl pulsar swift etc just until you get off your p's. less chance of geting hasseled by the cops and lets face it nearly all of us crashed our first car even if it was something small. Save your money learn how to realy drive do some track days etc and when you get off those p's buy the gtr or what ever your dream car you wont regret it

hi i was just after a bit of info on the normal timing belt kit for the rb26 in my stagea v's the race kit.. Is the "race" kit worth the extra money as its double the price or is it just a load of crap to make more money???????? any input would be great thanks....

best car ive ever owned for wow factor was a 66 chev belair it sat 1in off the ground (for a month that is till a ripped the sump out) low and slow all the way... the most exciting was my uc torana it had 300+hp out of a 202ci 6cyl lifted the left front tyre a couple inches off the ground on launch always brought a smile to my face....

thats only cause they can more or less... hoons, young males, skylines are the new "it" problem a few years ago it was drugs and dealers the media gets hold of some young kid o/d'n so the cops crack down start up a taskforce to make it look like they are doin something but the dealers dont shut up shop they layed low until some other "it" problem came up made it look like the cops had won... thats where we come in only difference is we cant lay low most of us drive our cars every day so we need to promote that we aint the scum of the world because we like cars this is our sport we just dont use a ball we use a stearing wheel to compete..... I work on the roads and i know how bad they are but trust me they will find the money from somewhere that isn't our pockets... remember ther goverment works for its people.. the people don't work for the goverment so if we want change we have to do some thing about it.............

yer i didnt think it was installed corectly the gauge on the controler is only reading 0.75bar on the low and 0.95 on the high looks like a trip to the dyno is on the cards.... thanks for all your help................

along with the enthusiast sticker the club/forum should be banding together for charity work to promote a better image to the public... We get hasseled from the cops next time a cop gets hurt or killed etc as a club raise some money for the family with a cruise or jus put your hand in your pocket and give it to the family as a club not only will you feel good for helping a family in need but they then go tell there friends that sau are so nice they helped out in there time or need and most cops are friends with other cops it may take awhile and a lot of fund raising for opions to change but trust me they will.. You jus have to look at the hot roders they started out with a bad rep and now the cops don't look twice at a 18yo (ok its prob his dads car but who cares) driving a 900kg 800+hp t bucket with a motor that goes over his head and wheeliebars on the street............... anyway thats jus my two cents worth

hey its a bit of a noobe question i know but any help would be great. My boost controler is set at 1.20kg and 30% duty on the high and 0.95kg and 30% duty on low boost my question is jus how much boost am i running on both settings ive downloaded the instruction manual but im lost on the whole equation on how you come up with the end pressure anybody had any experence with the avc-r....... thanks in advance
