  1. Yeah im not too sure on the exact DB reading that it drops. would only be a few at a guess. ricknismo is exactly right mine feels as if it is a 0.5" exhaust with the valve closed and it does create alot of back pressure. I only use mine when im trying to be sneaky and am very aware not to put the right foot into it lol..
  2. My Non V-spec R34 has the nismo version 2 MDF and i can see the intake and exhaust temp.. Not too sure wheree the sensor is located tho... Cheers. Matt
  3. Thats what iam after something that makes you look twice and you dont see everyday.. and of course does the job...
  4. Would depend on weather you wanted to only make it quite as you drive 'through town' or make it quiet all round. I have a ECV valve with a chord into the car in my 3.5" and i only use it when our finer law enforcement officers are about or want to sneak home without waking the neighbours as it killes the power that much when it is activated. To be honest i rarely use it.. To fix the problem totally without compramising power the best solution in my opinion would be to change exhausts. hope that helps a little Cheers Matt
  5. Thats what i want and should flow very well being dual 70mm into 100 tips the whole way through.. Will stand out from the crowd and do the job very well i would hope.. Cheers Matt
  6. Hi Guys, Just want some opinions on the Kakimoto Hyper 2000 Fullmega N1 Full Dual exhaust for R34 GTR? Looking at buying one soon and just curious as to how loud they are and do they have the race 'crackle' sound. Who's got one and are they worth the cash? The car is producing 350kw and driven on the occasional weekend. Thanks, Cheers Matt
  7. my front bar sits at about 98mm off the deck.. it's a bit of a drama with driveways and speed bumps but it only gets driven on weekends and i choose carefully where it goes.. As a daily this would be too low for me especially in mackay lol.. Cheers Matt
  8. How about a quote on a kakimoto fullmega N1 dual exhaust so a suit R34 GTR (anyone got one of these or heard on in action) http://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/image_NF1C52.html PM me Cheers, Matt
  9. Hey Ken, Are these only going to be a limited run? or do i have a bit of time to save up Cheers Matt
  10. I've had michelin pilot sports 275x35x18 Great driver feedback, good grip. Bad: They are directional inside/outside. So change more often and super expensive!!! REo1-r 265x35x18 Better grip than the michelin but less driver feedback. Not inside/outside so i can rotate when insides wear out. Better, cheaper and value for money.
  11. Hey, Thanks For the coments appreciate it. The strut brace is Auto Select it's a heavy weight of the options avaliable but certinaly does the job and looks killer! I do have some other pics of it but there still on the camera will load em up later this is all i have atm.. Still a few more parts in boxes in the shed to go in next week can't wait!!! - GoldZilla Yeah the badge really seals the deal i think, old school haha... It is unbelievable the difference the front fenders and bonnet make to the car really does make it look angry lol.. Thanks again Kingy
  12. Hey, Hey Thanks GBLOCK! Think i finally may have this sorted out lol.. There not the greatest pics but ya get the idea Cheers Kingy
  13. Hey here a quick few pics i took the other day. If i could work out how to put em up like everyone else instead of havin to download em i would lol..] Cheers Kingy
  14. Hey, Thanks man was a great weekend, was a little rough trip down there tho lol.. was also good to see a few skylines one the dyno kickin ass aswell in this V8 Country haha... Ended up getting runner up which i was stoked with (didn't expect anything). You will have to let us know if ya come up to mackay we will have to try to organise a cruze with everyone if possible lol.. Cheers Kingy
  15. Yeah thanks man i do love the wheels i have, just wanted something a little bigger. my curret setup looks like it's gonna kick ya in the teeth but i just wanted to add to that a little extra.... Cheers kingy
  16. Hey Try nengun http://www.nengun.com/rays-engineering/a-f...ring-center-cap Cheers Kingy
  17. Yeah the rear boot badge has no locator pins like the front gt badges.. just double side tape.. prepsol will remove the glue residue but if there were any other ways of getting around this problem apart from pulling the badge off i would definantly try that.. Cheers Kingy
  18. lol.. thanks man have spend a lot of time and money making it what it is.. yeah they are Nismo Z-Tune guards and Nismo R-Tune bonnet.. Looks awesome so happy with how it's comming up.. Cheers Kingy
  19. Thanks everyone, So it's not just bolt on and drive away as some would have you believe. The more i read and stories i hear going to this size will look shit hot, but the associated drama that comes with it may not be worth the issues. Dabro - i believe that the R33 GTR is wider in the rear than the 34. Not sure about the front think mine may be a little wider as i have Z-Tune guards which are an additional 15mm wider than standard. Very interesting than 305x25 rub less than the 275x30. I really do not want to go to a much lower profile than 30 as there are a few bumpy roads up here and performance etc. depalma-bcnr33 - You need to have the rear guards rolled? I didn't think there were any dramas with the rear did you just try add some camber? By massage the inner guard you mean use a heat gun or somethin similar and reshape the plastic? GTRNUR - It must be the 275 tyre that causes the issues beacuse my 18x9.5 originally had 275x35 michellin pilots and these did rub on full lock occasionally (driveways full lock etc), then i changed to Potenza RE01-r 265x35 and the issue went away. Going to a 19" with a 275x30 tyre would raise the car 10mm. Decisions Decisions!!! I love the wheels i got but want bigger lol.. Here are a few pics of my current set up. Thanks Cheers Kingy
  20. Hey everyone, Yeah i have checked out tangomatt's thread and it is an exceptional build.. want the same wheels as that just chasing a few more opinions before i fork out for a set lol.. I believe they will hit the inner guard on full lock with 275/30 tyre but i will live with that haha.. Just hope they do not interfer with the coilovers or ride hight as it only sits about 95mm off the deck Cheers Kingy
  21. $550 i need this gone it's just collecting dust in the shed
  22. Hey, Thanks for the replies Owgasm - 18's should be fine as that is the same spec as the Z-Tune. Yeah they do come at a premium but honestly we don't buy these type of cars to same money They only come in +12 or +22 and im really not to up to speed with the difference that this will make? Does the offset affect how much 'lip' there will be on the wheel? Yeah think they will look sexy as if i can get the right size, offset, ect. Iam tryin to get my hands on set of black time attact ones but this is proving difficult so far lol.. Cheers Kingy
  23. Hey Looking at buying some new wheels for my GTR after some recent upgrades. I currently have BBS 18X9.5 +20 but after changing to nismo Z-tune guards find they they are just too small and sit too far in.(been caught out by the ripple effect) I will probable keep these as a spare set incase i get the urge to go to track days lol. So the logical upgrade to me would have to be a set of TE37's 19X10.5 +12 although iam getting some mixed opinions about fitment! Just curious about haw many people are running them and do they scrub at all? I have spoke to some people that have them and they only rub the inner guard on full lock slightly. Rays engineering in japan tell me they wont fit . Please post up pics and any additional changes that had to be made to make them fit ie camber etc. Also ride Hight as my car is currently super low haha I realise that this may have been covered before but just would like to know what everyone thinks. Cheers Kingy
  24. Yeah has the factory imoberliser in it (turn the key and car keeps winding over) with alarm off (clifford 3 piont). Not sure what to do or how to bypass it. this is not critical as i still have one key just wanted a spare thats all lol... Up here in mackay these type of cars are not well know so finding people to help is often difficult. Thanks Matt
