i seem to have a vacuum leak coming from the front of the inlet plenum in the vicinity around injector 1 & 2. maybe even under the plenum i dont know. i've tried spraying carby clean/water/wd40 hunting for the change in idle but cant find anything. just wondering if theres any bits that are known to leak vacuum around that area? its quite audible. shits me up the wall with the hunting idle.

a couple years ago i had a little project that i ended up stripping/selling. i bought it under the assumption that it was a vg30 single turbo from ben at KYP in welshpool for $300. it has 45v2 marked on the compressor housing, doesnt seem to have anything (no op6 markings) on the exhaust housing. the wheel seems to be steel, i dont know how to confirm this. its in relatively good condition, a bit dirty, has been sitting inside for a few years. a bit of shaft play but not massive amounts. the wastegate actuator is included just not in the photo. i'd prefer if someone local (perth) buys it, so they can physically look at it beforehand, but i will post if need be. i'm not 100% if it is the vg30 turbo, theres a lot of literature about them but its quite confusing to me. heres a couple pics of it i'd like $200 ono for it ta.

g'day stao i'm looking at upgrading my stock turbo. supporting mods are nismo 740cc's, fmic, fuel pump & ems stinger. i'd like to take the rb25 to its safe limit, so around 330rwhp from what i read is reliable. my question, is what would be the best for the street, i'm guessing a tr43 g2 with a .63 housing? or would it be worthwhile going to a .82 housing ? and aside from the oil line, thats completely bolt on yeh? sorry about all the q's, i've been reading nonstop for a few hours and i'm a bit confused.

i'm selling my 94 gpx 250. its mechanically excellent, with a few cosmetic "blemishes" (crack in faring, stained exhaust) 33,500 km's 6 months reg new battery (in box) black with purple/green stripe black rims http://ii.net/~pdds/bike1.jpg the faring on the front wheel kinda vibrates. its not really noticeable but its worth noting. i'm asking $2600 for it, pretty firm on the price but if you waved some cash in my face i'd probably take it providing its a reasonable offer. the reason i'm sellling it is because i never ended up getting my license (hence low km's) and now it's just taking up space. if i dont sell up i'll probably look into getting my license sometime. give me a ring on 0438927605 cheers.
