I sold my V36 today. Was driven away by the new owner this evening. Very sad day. I have been looking at a Skyline Crossover and have visited 2 different compliance workshops in Melbourne this week. I will get to the point... One workshop claimed he could now convert the navigation and menus to English on the V36. Cost about $1,200 Guess I'd have to see it to believe it. I get the impression he was keeping it a secret and it's only meant for cars that he complies and sells through his workshop. I don't know if he is going to roll it out to everyone as a service and I didn't bother to dig any deeper. If someone wants to contact them further to find out if this is for real then PM me and I will pass on his details. I'm not posting the name of the workshop as otherwise he would get flooded with calls. The other workshop had the conversion and was working on some code or copying a chip. Don't think he quite had it 100% cracked but he was quite sure it was just about ready.

Cheaper than any Stagea headlights you will find on ebay. Anyone need to convert back to HID?

Just sold my CKV36 and seriously considering an NJ50 Crossover. If only Nissan had made the Stagea with a VQ37 and an interior like the V36 Instead they killed off the Stagea in favor of the Skyline Crossover. I will be pondering of this thought for some time.

^^^^^^^ Scotty speaks the truth. I was quoted in the region of $3,500 to fix a timing chain ticking sound in my Stagea. The mechanic happened to have a spare engine which he wanted $2,500 for as an exchange motor + $1,000 to fit. Scotty fixed the issue in about 2 hours and from memory it cost less than $200. Change your oil to a high quality full synthetic 10W40 and change the sensors if needed.

Auction ended early. Anyone know who got it. There are several bits i'd like to get from it. Presume it will be parted out.

I have the same car as my daily and if if doesn't get too expensive it would be good to have for spares. I'm seriously thinking about putting in a bid. Not interested in pushing the bidding up too high against other guys on here. I would like the momo wheel though.

Hi Kyle, Sorry don't have the flares, they are still on my car. Just had them all colour coded. I'd need a big box to pack it in otherwise it would get busted in shipping. I'd think the shipping would be more than I'm asking for the bar or about the same.

Too bad Mark. A neighbor of mine in the UK used to have an old Cedric Wagon. You know you will get a lot more backpackers in a wagon than a sedan Get a Stagea.... Shame the Axis 350S cant be imported. I want one. Are you still in Melbourne? Shout out if you want those headlight sockets or they will be thrown out.

Don't get me wrong, i'm perfectly prepared to spend the money. I just enjoy shopping around. Someone is making a lot of money out of these and many other aftermarket items that are not manufactured in Japan, USA or here in Australia. Shame, I can get kits that look the same as the HDI branded product to suit just about every other Skyline or Silvia, WRX, Mitsubishi etc for about $150 plus shipping. They don't seem to have it for the VQ25DET just yet. As I was prepared to be a guinea pig and test this out, pending a good result, it could have befitted the whole community by offering more choice.

Every chance someone actually has a layout drawing. Doesn't the kit come with a diagram when you buy it? There will be a parts diagram from the original Nissan one somewhere. It does't need to be dimensional. I can measure it myself if needed.

Hi, I'm talking to an overseas manufacturer of intercoolers. I was looking at getting a HDI GT2 Intercooler kit for my M35 and figured the guys selling them on ebay for $600 a pop are getting them from somewhere for about half that price. My supplier has requested pictures, diagram etc. Can anyone help with information on the dimensions of the pipes etc. If these guys come up with a good price I will be getting one for my motor and will be the guinea pig. If they can supply good quality at the right price then i will look at a group buy. Cheers

Timing Chains? Mine would rattle (ticking noise) about 2500 rpm on the VQ25DET but Scotty fixed that. I have heard VQ35's with noisy timing chains.
