  1. Thanks guys. I haven't laughed so much for ages. What a great thread. Somebody Sticky this in the comedy section.
  2. Think this post has been hijacked. Now if I had 2 of those Stagea tents, I could put one on each side....hummm. Must slow you down a bit though. Car would be inclined to take off like a bird hey.... I wonder if they come in Pink?
  3. 2 or 3 Stageas driving on the same road is a coincidence. We need a dozen or more to call it a cruise. Lets see a bit more interest and we can start an official thread with meeting times, places and a list of attendees. 2/3 is only 11 days away........or do you folks need more notice? Cheers
  4. I thought all cars in England were upside down when you look at them standing in Australa
  5. I see, get the POME to decide the way is it???? Thinking about an early start Scott so you may still be in bed dreaming about Rice Powered Volvos. There shouldn't be any Stags to fix that day. All you customers will be out on a cruise. This should be a family friendly event with sensible driving only please. Maybe drive along the Maroondah Hwy through Coldstream, Healesville and up to the Maroondah Reservoir Park. Never been there but it looks like they have BBQ facilities etc. Then people can either spend the afternoon doing their own thing, maybe tour a few wineries on the way back or we can get the map and compass out and drive a loop through to Woori Yallock, Seville and back into Lilydale and away to wherever you hailed from. We need commitment from a good number so shout out if you can make it before we confirm this is a live event.
  6. Suddenly my responsibility now is it? Right come on people, put your hand up if your interested and the date above works for you. If there is enough interest then we can firm things up otherwise we can move it out a few more weeks to give people time to get organised.

  15. B U M P spells bump lets get this out of my shed and sold. Offers???
  16. I have a feeling that the cluster may be different. when I've seen Nismo clusters on Yahoo, if I remember correctly, they state NOT ARX.
  17. Ferntree Gully Nissan did mine 3 years ago but they also supplied the key. How old is your V?
  18. My ARX runs 225/55/18 as per the placard and when the spedo is at 110 the car is actually doing 103 (per my GPS) The V36 is out by about the same. I reckon they are built like this to slow people down. Now I figure if i run 245 45 18 as suggested above, this will reduce my rolling diameter from 2214mm down to 2129mm and throw the spedo out by another 4 kms/hour. I figure that if I were to run 235 55 18 then at 110 on the spedo the car would be going around 105 kms an hour. Found some Dunlop SP Sport 235/55/18 100V LM703 for a reasonable price. Anybody running these? 245 55 18 would produce about 107 kmh at 110, an error of only 3kmh but this tyre size is likely an off road tyre and if it didn't touch my plastic guards would sound like a truck anyway!
  19. Scott, I'll pop over later in the week and you can try it on my V36 just to settle the argument. Cheers
  20. I have a Curt hitch on the back of the Stagea but only for a bike carrier. Note the receiver is only 1.25 inches square tube. You will need to fit a towball into the hitch that comes with it. The towball hole in the hitch needs to be opened up as it is a fraction too small for a standard towball. Your bike carrier needs to fit onto the towball. Unless you have a bike carrier that will mate with a 1.25 inch square receiver. At the end of the day I wasn't that impressed with the Curt solution and Fist Fit Sydney bar would be your best option.
