  1. I ran a 10% mix opf toluene for 12 months. Worked a treat bit was a waste of money, because in 12 months the money spent on toluene could have bought 1.5x WMI kits, that do a 10 times better job.

  4. I've been running 500 engine horsepower, or 420rwhp for a while now, on a stock engine. Been using Shell Helix Fully Synthetic 5w40 since I got the car. Engine is running well.

  6. I post this; Then you post this. You're blind, and possibly stupid. I said exactly this about 10 posts back, and agree with you 100% Guilt-Toy, I refuse to tune cars with them installed because they completely waste my time trying to diagnose fuel pressure problems. Factory ones work fine.
  7. The horsepowerinabox turbo won't make that power due to the re-profiled rear. If you seriously want to make that power, you need to go down the "real" road, not the dodgey bolt on road. Go to a Garrett Distributor and get the real Garrett GT3037 turbo and use the Garrett 0.87 rear. To make 420rwhp, you'll need at least 20psi. Get real pipes made up. I'm confused though, do you want 400+rwhp, or engine horsepower? If you're only after 400 engine horsepower, get a GT-RS turbo.

  9. 314rwkw at 18psi here. GT3037 (The big one) with a 0.63 rear. Can't go anymore, too much back pressure. I'm pretty sure thats the Exhaust housings fault though.
  10. go right ahead then, up your pressure 5psi or 10 psi. Then add the rising rate of 1:1 to it. I run 22psi on some days, hmmm, that would give my standard injectors (if they were still fitted) a good, 20psi+ extra pressure. And people with the stock turbos, gonig from 7psi to 13psi, thats an extra 6psi, plus your claimed 5psi or even 10psi. 10psi to 15psi is not only a lot of pressure, but a lot more flow for these 15yo injectors.. You'd rather risk doing that, and blowing your engine, than getting new, fresh injectors? Do you know how many GTR's and GTS-T's I have seen with stuffed injectors, running at standard pressure? Oh, but you're the expert. My bad.
  11. So according to you, we can put the base pressure at 80psi instead of 43psi, so we only have to run the factory injectors at 50% instead of 95%? I wonder how long they'd last with even a 20% pressure increase.... Injectors can leak causing engine failures..........
  12. what size is the rear housing on the 2835? I'd say that is the problem if its only a 0.63. Then again, the compressor technically shouldn't go any higher than 280rwkw as it just isn't designed to. Shame the turbo isn't a GT3037.

I said all of that stuff about my gains, because you said that "just because I had that power number doesn't mean I can blah blah blah". Acting like a fool. I tune cars. I see these problems everyday. I deal with ignorant people like you everyday. List your mods, give us your power target, stop being a "the world owes me something" kind of a tool, and we'll help you. You're asking a stupidly open ended question. You haven't listed your mods, so what, how the hell are we supposed to diagnose the problem? Do you have an aftermarket ECU? Do you have an aftermarket turbo? How much boost? What fuel are you running? What fuel pump? What spark plugs? What plug gaps? And the list goes on. We're all nice people here, but a lot of us have no patience anymore because day after day, some idiot signs up, asks a stupid vague question, and demands answers.
  15. yuck. The last 2 cars I tuned, we had to take them off and bin them. The AFR's would be from one extreme to another. You go WOT, the AFR's would go to 11:1, not touch the tune, then WOT again on the next run, 13:1. Put the standard one on, and AFR's would hold perfect. They are junk.
  16. well, if you're not running a stock car you should have listed your mods so anyone here can help you. Have you wondered why your thread is pretty much dead so far? Maybe you should read the beginner threads first and actually see how a skyline works before just "hooking up" something thats sitting there, even though you have no idea what it does... Oh, and I Wasn't being a dickhead, I was telling you what everyone else will tell you. That "number" was 100% my doing also by the way. EVery little bolt on, even the tune, I did all myself and encountered, and fixed all problems along the way. If you want to be a wanker and bag that out most of the experienced people will shy away from your thread. And you never answered my question. Are you running more than 350rwkw? Because if you aren't, an aftermarket FPR is going to be a waste of time, and introduce a lot more problems...... I know a lot of reasons for a fuel cut, but you're ignorant and haven't posted your mods list so that people can diagnose it. and with your kind of attitude, "new to the skyline scene" you might want to delete your SAU account, and sign up over at www.nissansilvia.com.
