its a great game but I must say (as somebody who can only play multiplayer split screen that the single player alone justifyies the money being spent on buying it. I live for the Hong Kong level.

the flaw in your plan of having your GF re-move over to aust would be that she doesnt own the car. you do so you would have to be the person moving. then again maybe just asking for consideration seeing you did move over here and just didnt import it as a personal import when you first moved. does anybody know if there is a limit you can be in aust for before you can no longer do it as a Personal Import? Given its been 1 year already it probs wont work but you never know. give customs a call.

The site says that the helmet is SA2010 standards. does this make it SA2005 too. That helmet seems mid range and is around the max amount I would want to pay for a helmet for the moment.

Yeah i do intend on doing more track days and buying a helmet. I just don't have one atm so i am looking borrow as a obe off then i will go buy one. I have been told thre is a good place in flemington.

Hey, So I am heading up to DECA and have been lucky enough to pick up a spot as a nav / awe inspired passenger I am now aware that a helmet is a requirement for being a passenger. A helmet is currently something I dont own. is there anybody heading up to DECA that has a spare Helmet I could use? I have decent sized head so a small probs would fit. anyways thanks

yeah I was at the show n shine today. I may go and have a look at this car but after talking to people today it does look like my best option will be to save up and either get a 34 trip or anothercar more known for their reliability. to answer the questions I do only have an auto license and am yet to drive a manual so i do need the auto or tip.

Seeing I have applied to join the club I will go and have a look to see how these events go.

Hey guys so I have been doing some hunting on carsales for a skyline to buy and this R33 GTS has popped up which im very interested in. does it belong to anybody on the forum or does anybody know of it? It seems to be perfect for me - basically no mods except for sound, tint and body kit. she is selling it with an exhaust but also including the stock which I will install. well I'm going to sign uptoday. hopefully all goes smooth and my application only takes a few days so I can head down to the Show n Shine. The membership thread says that 15 business days is the min time I should wait before complaining. Can any members tell me what the quickest method to apply is? I am thinking the quickst might just be to fill out the PDF file then email and do a bank transfer.

I think you will find that even at 10k its to much for plates. I think maybe you would stand a better chance if you had a sell price of 5k that way people can reasonably bargin with you.

sounds good. Must say I like the no hooning part. I love cars but see no point in hooning. When is deca on? can I still go and can somebody give me a basic expination of what goes on and do I need a CAMS license?

I will defs take my car to something she is totally stock but but still its a first car and for that alone I love her, That said I am looking at auto N/A skylines atm. so might save up to get one. might just come down to the next gen meeting (and apply for membership sometime in the next week looks like its only 70$) sorry to be naive but what actually happens on the cruises?

Hey guys, Feels like ages since I lasted posted but I have been lurking the forums for the last 2 months while at work. Any way I am looking at joining SAU vic and have a few questions to ask before I do to see if it is right for me. The main reason im wanting to join is coz I got my license a few months ago and now have a real urge to GO FAST. Knowing that the road is not the right place for this (speed cameras, loss of licence, cop trouble and most importantly its not safe) I am wanting to go to the track and do some laps. As some reasearch has shown SAU Vic is CAMS affiliated which means I can get my racing license and then go to track days and have fun. Im also looking for some social fun and to build my knowledge of cars more. Thing is though I am very newbish when it comes to cars and I drive a commo. Will SAU vic still take me or is it more only for imports and skylines (a car that I do love and do intend on getting in the future). so how social is the club and how often are track days? Also where are the track days held? I dont have that good a knowledge of where in Melb / Vic one can go racing.

this is a total joke. never mind that imports are safer than most mid 90s aussie / non grey- import and run better. any decent early 2000's jap import has better features an is more reliable than most brand new cars in aust. just look at the fuga or late model glorias.

if it was an auto and i was a bit more experienced ie not a freash p plater i would buy it but for the moment i will pass. looks great though. and i normaly dont like R32s

when i saw that post about being P Plate legal in Vic i was very interested. but there is one small problem. New definition of probationary prohibited vehicle (from 1 July 2007) # has an engine with eight cylinders or more, or # has an engine that is turbocharged or supercharged (other than a diesel powered vehicles listed in Table 1 below). There are also some lower powered turbocharged or supercharged vehicles which have been exempted and can be operated by a probationary driver who has been given an exemption by VicRoads. Refer to lower performance turbocharged or supercharged vehicles and exemptions. # has an engine that has been modified to increase the vehicle's performance (other than a modification made by the manufacturer in the course of the manufacture of the vehicle , or # a nominated high performance six cylinder engine. Refer to Table 2 below. just thought i would post so that no P plater gets their hopes up only to be told they cant drive it by the first cop that pulls them up.

yeah being 6'3" means that the cars i do fit in is sometimes limited. shame about the track. i never went there but any time a track closes in Australia its a shame because new ones arent being built to replace the old ones.

I wish i could drive a S13 but i either have to have my my neck bent or about 2 inches of my head poking out the sun roof
