Pod & IC wont cause that problem (nothing wrong with pods btw)! It will most likely be plugs! BCPR6ES are 0.8mm gap out the box, but BCPR7EY are better & IRIWAY7 are the best!

SA: Ok, just got off the phone with a very helpful guy from vehicle standards! He informed me that so long as there are no blatantly illegal mods (ie: vta bovs, screamer pipes etc), that all i have to do to have it regency approved, is it has to pass the IM240 emissions test ($275), for that of the RB25det (or 26 if that was your original engine etc), they would then site the new engine number and it would be good to go! He also stated that the MR7 form is not the correct form to use and will only confuse the matter! *Plus he stated that a few years ago they would have said no way, but are being more lenient toward this mod now! Hope that clears up a few things for the SA guys atleast!

Had a turbosmart boost T, but lots of spiking issues! Now use a HKS EVC, boost is spot on from start to finish, easy install & easy to use!

Need Help Uprating The Series 1 Back End

Cool cheers mate, given me some solid ideas of what to do with the rear of mine now! As for upgrading other areas, well im running out of 'other' areas to upgrade and i think it would be pretty cool so eventually i probably will do this mod (i let you know how it goes, possibly with lap time comparo if i can be arsed)! The RB30 is almost ready to go in, so driveline is next on the agenda! -

Thanks rb30dett, its rare that someone actually answers so succinct and definatively, cheers! So with regard to #4, your suggesting that z32 turbo axles can be used to resolve this issue? and #5, although alittle tedious, it can be done & there is an advantage however small it maybe? I mean Nissan evolved this system for a reason & every GTR is quicker than the last, so why not take advantage of this? As going pro would give 4wheel semi-independant torque splitting & ABS, rather than just front/rear. That has to be of some advantage? If so, just changing the ABS rings, the G-sensor & Attesa control module be all thats required? Or do i need to change pumps aswell? -
Yeah i believe MV Automatics in Blackwood SA has done shift kits for the series 2 autos!

Need Help Uprating The Series 1 Back End
Zorro replied to RSVFOURUK's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
So, can you use the stag gears in the gtr diff? Can you use the gtr lsd in the stag diff? They are both R200 right? If your using the gtr diff for the 6bolt axles, do the gtr diffs bolt into the stag (rsfourv) rear cradle? Kiwi you mentioned the abs ring being different, that would be to do with the different attesa systems (attesa ets vs attesa etspro), so why wouldnt you then use the gtr (r33?) attesa system if your looking to get the most out of your stag? How hard is it to swap the gear sets in the front diff (ie: do you need to remove the engine first)? -

R33 Gtst aftermarket coilovers! -
From what I can gather from some considerable trolling; The c34s have the Attesa-ETS, (*rsfour has an lsd) and 260rs has the Attesa-ETS PRO. Apparently the G-sensors between the units is also diffenent as the Pro can determine betwen left & right side, aswell as front to back, which also applies to the ABS?! Can anyone confirm this?
-
Hey does anyone know definately what Attesa system the c34 stageas use? Is s1 different from s2? Is 260RS different? Auto vs Manual? Is it like the R32 GTR (at 10reads per second)? R32 V-spec & R33 GTR(100rps)? R34 (1000rps)? etc..... Also, is it possible to swap the Attesa system around, like take the sensors & control unit from another GTR and wahla upgraded Attesa??? So R34 Attesa Pro, for best traction or go the R32 so you can utilise the RWD/AWD switching ability!? Any and all useful feedback on this topic would be appreciated! (So you know where im coming from: I have an s1 RSfourV, but will be doing manual conversion soon and im looking to get the most performance out of the car as i can, im leaving no stone unturned!)

Well here it is, some might find it useful?! goto http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/362559-hks-gadget-install-stuff/

HKS wiring diagrams & ecu pinouts!
-
The sensor isnt on the ecu as such, but on a separate unit where the canbus line goes! Also scotty, no need to scare the guy, it is just a wire after all, its not going to turn the car into a giant ball of strange matter, consuming the universe, undoing the fabric of time & space! Can easily be reversed if necessary! I will actually post that stuff now (the other night my internet droped out, got distracted & then cbf)! For what ever use it my be, might even post for all stags while im at it! *Its not brain surgery!
-
yeah besides pluging into the ecu, it also intercepts the CANBUS signal (which i also have a wire port dia of)! Give me a minute and i'll upload the pics to this thread (would have been easier to email but.......)!!!
-
Im just offering what i know, take it or leave it, i really dont care! I just remember how frustrating it was when i went to install one of these and no-one knew anything about them! Yes the one i did was for an rb25 not a vq35, but the principals are the same; I have a wiring plot diagram of the vq35 ecu & translated fitting instructions (with switch pos etc) for the sld (yes fitting instructions, unless you are psychic and know where everything goes - if so help him & tell me the lotto numbers while your at it)!
-
Kiwi is correct & its alot easier to just send you an email with all the info (i have translated the japanese fitting instructions)!
-
Hi mate, pm me your email and i'll send you some info & pics that you'll need on the SLD!

What Do You Think This Is Worth To Sell...
Zorro replied to unique1's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
atleast 25K! -
Keen on the first idea, toward the end of the month would be good, as i should have mine back on the road by then (and run-in)!
-
I have the HKS 409hipower in mine and i love it! Kakimoto makes a very nice system also!
-
Im using HKS hypermax coilovers from an R33 gtst and they feel great! The spring rates are way higher than stock anyway & i have heaps of adjustment on the dampening too! But if you were going to use non-adjustable stock stuff, you may very well experience the problems you are concerned with!

aka r33 gtst

Rb30Det Carbon-Fibre Lower Cambelt Cover
Zorro replied to Zorro's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeah, although i want it mainly for the fact it was extended, it would also tie in nicely with the CF cam gear cover & coilpack cover! (I even saw a thread for it on here awhile ago) If anyone knows where to get one from, hook a brother up, im keen as!!! -
Hey guys, i saw an extended CF lower cam belt cover for RB30 twin cam conversions awhile ago now, but cant seem to find them anymore!? Where can i get hold of one of these?
