  1. are the bleednipples at the top of the caliper or the bottom?
  2. really; new or s/h, what do they look like & how much?
  3. Using the same as what SK recommended (on full hard), see how the coilovers go, but i was going to go the next size up!
  4. fuel/boost cut can be solved with an intercept unit like the HKS FCD, but it doesnt sound like that is your problem! Did you move the TPS when mounting the throttle body on the new plenum? also air leaks could explain it.....
  5. I just bought HKS coilovers, with a few sets of springs 5->9kgs, so i will play around and see how its goes! (i like to drive pretty hard through the hills, wanted a gtr, but needed a wagon, so.... super stagea it is)
  6. Well that was a long and sometimes painful read, some interesting stuff in there too! While SK did obviously put in alot of effort in the early days of the stagea being in Aus, and much respect for the effort & shaing the info, i feel (with no disrespect intended) that he is rather conservative with his settings! 3kg springs really? I have king springs & the whiteline bars in the car at the moment and its waaaaaay tooooo soft & even the bars could do with the next size up X & XX, im not happy with the std setup at all! Well i think i will use that as a base line guide, but do it my own way & post the results when it all comes together (good or bad)! Cheers for your input guys, i'll keep ya posted on my progress! (eventually we can compile an abstract or a definative guide to stagea suspension modding)! (rather than read a million pages)
  7. Ok great thanks Ruby! Im looking at a set of coilovers at the moment, which have 9kg & 7kg! So thats fairly close, what do you think? Close enough or should i look for a set 1kg firmer?
  8. Hey can anybody tell me what wheel nuts i need to use in order to fit a set of RAYS Nismo LM-GT1 wheels? I special ordered a set of Bronze T7 'normal' RAYS nuts from Japan, thinking they would fit, but they dont, they dont fit in the hole (the taper flare on the nut is bigger than the nut hole in the wheel)! Does anyone know for sure what i can use, it would be greatly appreciated! PS: I now have a brand new set of RAYS bronze T7 nuts for sale!
  9. Ok guys, what do you think are the best spring rates for the rs4 c34?
  10. Being awd, you will have to keep the rolling diameter the same for front and back or the attessa will trip out! Which makes stagered tyre sizes very tricky, probably best to use the same front and rear! The offsets wont cause any problems, but stags have more room in the front than the back, and 10" will be a very tight fit (will need guard rolling)! *I just picked up 18x9.5 +14 and they dont fit, going to need guard mods (would be the same fit as a 10 +20)! Im currently using 18x8 +35 with 235/40 all round, and the back fits ok, but the front are swimming in the guards; so a 9 +20 would be a good straight fit (using same tyres)! Id personally use the same front and back! Im about to put the new rims with 255/35 on, but doing some serious guard work to fit them (rolling dia. is about the same as factory)! my 2cents...
  11. Well if it comes to parting out, i will take the rear bar & side skirts!
  12. pintara...lol No, but i did once have someone say "is that your magna wagon?"! {insert evil glare & bemused look of wtf?}
  13. white dayz stg034 on marion tonight!
  14. Yes & they should come with an adaption plate! (+ they sound awesome!)
  15. An accessable high end car audio example is Pioneer PRS! If you want some *cough* home stereo equipment to drool over, check out 'Technical Brain'!!!
  16. mate id take a good look at where you took your power from!
  17. Yep pretty easy install & yes you will need spacers!
  18. I fitted 6.5" rockford fosgate splits (t1652s) into an r32 gtr for a customer last week, tight fit but all good!
  19. Most ester oils (group V) should be fine with alcohol fuels! (eg: Motul 300v)
  20. Scientists do not! Marketing however.....
  21. lol well i have a skyline wagon!
  22. Sorry to hear mate! But if you decide to part it out, i'll buy the rear bar!
  23. most 6.5's will be a straight fit!
