I would be keen as well, if you can get some pic up that would be sweet. just quickly why do the R34 seem to have more of a prob with the intake piping sucking closed than anyone else. I dont think I have incured it but never had it on the dyno, but for sure metal intake pipe would flow better than the standard and I am hoping to run around 1.4 bar so I am guessing that stuff like that will become more critical at that stage. plus it looks cool.

Yeah thats what I recon. makes me super frustrated, always comes back to money I recon. Money talks and bulsht walks. I almost guarentee that I will never buy a commodore/falcon at least not for an extended period anyhow. If its dodgy dealers they are worried about then they only have themselves to blame for not regulating it properly, its also the luck of the draw but if you have a regulatory body in japan to watch it then there shouldnt be a problem. I just hope when I get my next car I can bring something that I want in rather being dictated to me as to what I can and cannot bring in. Anyhow I am hoping the 15 year rule stays alive and we get the toyota aristo under raws thats the dream car anyhow.

i know this has already been touched on a fair bit but I recon its shvit that they are going to change the 15 year rule. So many nice cars out there and thats how I bought my cefiro and I also bought in a tt300zx before this. Now if they clamp down on imports you will get bog stock car and will have to start from scratch to build up. I dont really care if I loose maybe a few grand on a car, if any money at all. There is no way we will be able to bring in our own cars at this stage and if you can then it will be stock as a rock, complianceing cost will soar etc etc. show me a good side to the argument as I cant see any really.

anyone replaced this?? Do you need to remove the exhaust from the turbo or is there enough play in it to pull away the turbo from the exhaust manifold with the exhaust still attatched?? Any help here guys would be muchly appreciated. not getting any responces from this topic so have no input as yet. Thanks in advance to anyone who replys

Here are some pics. The S14 caliper is missing the retaining clip and the pads could be changed. One of the spindles has a 5 stud hub the other doesnt. I have the receipt for the moog joints as well, the other is still wrapped in newspaper in the box. let me know how you go

I dont think there is any to be honest with you, but do some research just to make sure, they look identical. Give me some time and I will post some pics on here for you. I bought the lot thinking that I needed to do the entire conversion but it turns out I had nismo lower control arms, and the lot had been upgraded already, long story. My bearing went and tried to track down the same hub from japan or NTN but non existant. So I figured that just the hub had been changed as an aftermarket 4 - 5 stud conversion. Turns out I am wrong. SO I figured I would buy the nessesary for the front and change it all over but I didnt need too. be back with pics in a little bit.

Hey mate, I saw a s14 with an rb26 in it at advan at silverwater in sydney Firstly its got to be the same conversion I would think for an s15, second maybe you can have a word to them and see what you need they are nice guys there and always seem to be helpful when I have been there. Its actually a chick who owns it. That is an awsome project, and if you decide to not go ahead with it then consider the engine sold as Ill take it ha. Good luck I am sure it will be worth the effort.

-2 x brake rotors, S14 -2 x moog ball joints - 1 x S14 caliper, 1x s15 caliper - 2 x spindle s14 if anyone needs anything or wants stuff let me know, sorry to put this here but skylines dont need a 5 stud conversion so its only applicable to you guys. cheers

Have got a GTR intercooler, oil cooler, 3in from the turbo. As for rwkw I dont know havent run it yet. I would be guessing around the 200rwkw at around the 1.15 bar as a guess. had a run with a WRX the other night he had front mount and exhaust etc and beat him so has some ponies. what do you recon I can get from the turbo 1.3 - 1.4 bar if I have the thing remapped. I will get a better indication after I put the cam gears on and then run it. What sort of power should I get from a 2535 on an RB20???

already got one, plus a monster bosh fuel pump, the thing sounds like a swarm of bees in the boot. I really need to get on the dyno and see I spose. Am getting some cam gears soon so will get those on and run it and see from there if its worth getting it chipped again (been done in japan). Its chewing some feul at the moment, leaving lots of carbon build up on the rear bar so I know its running rich.

Has anyone replaced one of these, easy/hard. From the looks of things its not so easy. Will I need to remove the dump pipe. How much play is in the exhaust. CAn I unbolt it and then slide it off with the exhaust still attctched to the turbo?? Also found out that my turbo is not a HKS2510 but a HKS2535. hmm maybe time for some new injectors and push the boost up. Thats one good thing to come from this I spose.

has anyone done this is it an easy job??? can I just remove the bolts, slide out old gasket and slide in new one or will the whole turbo have to be removed. or will I risk bits falling into turbo?? Car is sounding like shit and can see a large part of that gasket missing so need to replace it. anyone got any info, also where to buy gaskets for I spose its a t3 flange, has a hks 2510 turbo but spose its the same flange as its bolts onto factory manifold.

just for the record, was a WRX front mount and exhaust, bov, anyway happy with that but not at the breakage.

Am hoping someone can help, had a drag race tonight and think I could have broken something possibly blown head gasket. The enging noise has changed on my car when under load, but ok on very light throttle. could have over revved it in the race but its on cylinder 6 and there is also a light ticking comming from there it seems as well. poss exhaust valve but doesnt sound like it used to, it sounds more airy. Anyone got any ideas of what it could be????

you bastard, I almost bought that car, saw it on yahoo before geoff got a hold of it, and then got dogged on the sale, hows she go, Am happy with my mobile now so its all good just thought I would have a bit of a cry about it. haha does it have a pearl effect in the paint??? Have fun

Ok looks as though I have stuffed knock sensors, I got the 34 code and then I reset my ecu, started it again and got 34 code again, check both knock sensors both seem to be plugged in and wires attatched, could this be causeing my missfire problems????? spose it would retard my timing if they were both stuffed causing the misfire what do you recon, anyone ever replaced them, they are a pain to get to so replaceing them would be a killer. what do they cost??? anyone?????

hey guys I am wondering if you can help me. My rb20 is ****tering alot on idle and low revs at light throttle under 3k revs, the tone of the engine also sounds different and there seems to be a lose of power (maybe in safty mode). I have always had the cold start stammer which goes away but this is different. I took it for a run up the freeway which seemed to cure it untill the next cold start so I dont think its a coil pack, and the plugs were changed about 4k km ago (iridium .8mm). I took the CAS off a little while ago and cleaned the contacts which cured both but then its come back worse so I am thinking it could be the CAS gone. Will check my TPS as well from memory 0.5mv idle and WOT 5mv. My AFM is clean as so should be that. Anyone got any suggestions??? I did get the CAS code on my ecu a while ago and will check it again. could this be causing the problem. CHeers guys

Just wanted to know how to soften the suspension in my car. It has a large bolt on the top of the shock and when I turn it the whole shaft of the shock turn with it when the wheel is off the ground, anyway I am not too sure if the are adjustable but how can I tell they are, they are JIC.

I have two moog ball joints (Saves you getting the S14 lower controll arm) a s14 caliper, s15 caliper( will bolt straight onto Spindle) two brake discs and both spindles, I have 1 hub from the left hand side, if you can get 2 hubs s14, left and right hubs would be best New. the rear will need 300zx I think here is a link for you its good http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/projectc...lvia/index.html if you want em let me know

have a look around for some soarer forums at least you will have some tech advise on the engine and that sort of thing. Nice ride though, would like to head in that direction in a little while but only in a man box. how much is the complience for it if you donr mind me asking?????

My wheel hub went, so I tryied to track down a virtually non existing hub, with my car just the hub was upgraded, so now Ive got s14 wheel assembly to change both sides, everything that bolts onto the strut, and also you will need to buy aftermarket ball joints from MOOG, Here is a couple of great site and you should be able to get everything from here if you want to do it either way, hub upgrade (expensive $600+ for the front), or acquire S14 suspension and Moog ball joiont. have a look http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/5boltco...conversion.html and http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/projectc...scc_projsilvia/ I am now just waiting for ball joints, car is sitting in workshop with farked bearing. I got both sides hub, spinldles, brakes, rotors $400, plus you will need the Ball joints about $100. $500 all up for front, you will nedd 300zx for the rear, not a cheap exercise though. see how you go.

It was 570 000 yen so not cheap but, still got lots of goodies on it. its clean although I need to fix a few little things at the paint shop, after that it will be complete, maybe some adj cam gears and rechip the ecu and thats the end for it I think, unless someone has a spare RB26 lying around they want to give me. hint hint.

Hey guys I am hoping someone can help me. The wheel bearing has gone in my cefiro and the hub has been changes to a 5 stud pattern (originally 4 stud). So not S13, had a look at the S14 and the pattern is the same although the bearing is different and has different internal bearing diameter. Its a sealed hub so its a bit of a mystery to me. Maybe Cedric or gloria, I have been to SSS automotive and no luck. Anyone got any ideas, you can see the ABS cog as well although my cefiro has no ABS so I take it is from an ABS car. Pics should be there and help anyone identify where the hell its come from. Thanks to all hope someone can shed some light to me or ideas on what to do. CHeers Ben

just wondering if anyone can help with my car RB20 cefiro, has a few mods but its running through was so much petrol maybe going through 20 l per 100km at times, not flooring it that much. mods are bosch feul pump, I think the o2 sensor has been changes and aftermarket turbo and exhaust and has an afc but not tunned. any one got any suggestions on what I can do/have a look at???? thanks
