  1. from memory the cefiro swaybar is the same as the S13, I have an aftermarket one, will the bushings for it be the same???? They are shot and need to be replaced. Also what are the bolts called which go through the swaybar into the lower controll arm?? think they look a little bent.
  2. Just wanted to replace the bushings on my swaybar, its aftermarket if I order some bushings will that make any difference??? thanks
  3. I got an 2535n my rb20, its greta but it leaves you with alot of lag in comparison to the stocky. go teh 2530 I think that would be the best or the GTRS, bot sure if they make the correct bolt pattern for the RB20
  4. Yeh a mates got one, they go well and all the reviews, as you have read rave about them. punchy engine and you can throw the thing into corners as well. go test drive one and I am sure you will be impressed, there should be a new one on the next year, but go and get in one. they could do with a bit more power but thats what you expect when you step out of a 300kw car.
  5. here are a couple of pics, dont know about seperating the front as yet will wait and see if cef33y wants em and then will see how we go. Will bei contact
  6. If anyone is interested I am selling my JIC coilovers which are height and camber adjustable (front). There in good nick, front spindle mounting point have been drilled to 14mm so would suite someone with a 5 stud conversion. dont know what spring rates are but looking prob 8k front and 6k rear. Will put some pics up in the next few days, I wont be asking a mint, but dont insult me either, so make an offer. hope to see some of the sydney guys out at Oran Park on saturday. Cheers
  7. does anyone know how to pick the difference between the rb25 and the rb20 gearbox whilst its in the car. I noticed the other day in a mates car his gear stick was thinner thinner than mine, So I am wondering if mines a R33 box????
  8. I got a 2535 on mine and making boost by 3500 at least 1 bar. how much boost are we talking about here???? Could be a couple of things such as intake pipe sucking shut, not mapped correctly, boost controller stuffed, cat converter colapsed, take it back and say its not working right. Get your moneys worth. Check all your intake pipes as well.
  9. I contacted the honda driver training center today but havent heard back from them so will see what happends.
  10. Can I suggest that you try and scrape a goove into the bolt, depends on how deep it is, but if its snapped off flush at the top you can use a knife and scrape a line in it to use a screwdriver to remove it. I have donr it with smaller bolts, maybe worth while.
  11. just thought I would bring this strand back on the boil again, what about the place at St Ives at the HART centre?????
  12. thanks I got 0.44 on idle 4.2 on WOT, I just had in mind that it was 5.0 WOT so thought I would just check. Thanks
  13. just wanted to see what the WOT TPS is, idle .5mv and whats WOT 5mv?????RB20 thanks
  14. yeah I would be keen for a slide and snag, preferably on the sat in a few weeks would be tops.
  15. I heard the same thing about D2, maybe steer away from them. You can usually adjust the height in two ways firstly on the spring platform and secondly at the base of the shock where it bolts onto the spindle. have heard a few different opinions about tein but had em on my skyline and seem to be fine. Heard the problem comes from winding them too low and reducing the travel ability of them. See how you go.
  16. Ok well measure the springs only on the front OD. 80mm thickness. 11mm no of turns. 8 This doesnt seems to be too bad as compared to others on the thread where you were measuring rates. I also did the cable tie trick and found that the travel is only about half way up the shaft. Normal???
  17. nup only hieght adjustment, I had tein in my 32 but they were nothing like this, I just wanted to see if a lesser spring rate would soften the ride and increase the travel. Its rather ridiculous at the moment the hardness of the ride. cant hit bumps, pot holes or anything without a massive thud.
  18. I want to know if I change my springs to something a little bit softer will the harshness of my ride improve or is that mostly dependant on the shocks. I have JIC in there at the moment but I dont know what the spring rate is in them. I dont know if I should buy a whole new suspension, or just change the springs to somehting softer???? I just dont seem to get any travel in the car. Cheers
  19. you guys get any pics??? Thing is though with cefiros being a drift car, there arnt too many in showroom conditions after being on the track drifting. So I think that would discount a fair few people. Not that I am saying anything bad.
  20. yeah definitley comming from the diff, well first option is to change diff oil to redline, and hopefully that will eliviate some of the noise then depending on how that goes, maybe Bl4cK32 suggestion on fitting the urethane uppers in maybe the next go. The two options of oil and pinapples is prob going to be the best. Thanks for everyones input, will let you know how i go, hopefuuly the oil will go in tomorrow night, or over the weekend. Some people seem to have mixed results with it removing the clunking. Cheers
  21. ok well I put the alloy cradle bushes in, bought hydro jack and stands, but its making alot of clunking noises, obviously its more solid in the rear, but when I accelerate on and off I get a click/clunk noise, and especially when doing a three point turn, Have a JIC coilovers (Verry stiff) ATS LSD in there which you could feel load up, but now its just way too noisy. I dont know if something is wrong or normal??? What I was thinking is getting a thiner nolathene pinapples or something to sit between the top of the subframe and the underside of the car to at dampen it. Or possibly remove the top alloy pinapple and replace with whiteline small nolathene bush. hope someone can offer some help.
  22. here is a sweet ceffy, Someone get it as I want that front bar, best one by far. A bit on the rich side though and 15yr rule gone, what a shame. http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k21698757
  23. I think that was me, actually 2535 turbo, but I think the 2530 would be much better suited to the RB20, should be a little less laggy, obviously the 2510 will spin up a little better although wont like to rev as much, I think its rated at around 200rwkw. But either way much better than the standard. I dont think either would be bad for drifting, and 2510 better down low. just my two bucks worth.
  24. saw a white ceffy on pitwatter rd at about midnight on sat night, too drunk to see the no plate. ha
  25. I jacked it up off the diff, which iliminated the gap on the rear bushes, but not on the front ones. So I moved the jack and placed it on the subframe on the front (just in front of rear wheel) and removed the gap there again the passenger side seems to be a little sagier. So from that I take it the bushes are just stuffed (not bent subframe), do you think putting the alloy pinapples in will solve it as i just want the C shape ones which means I dont have to drop the whole subframe, but if it doesnt remove the gap then chances are they will fall out from the top???
