  10. tomorrow maybe, - when its light outside. On my car, its been in an accident, (before i owned it) not sure if the airbag went off or not, if it did, then its been replaced. Either the computer won't recognize the new airbag, or its not been plugged back in correctly/ wiring problem. i wanted to go poking round and look for the cause but i'm too afraid of accidentally setting off the airbag. this is for an R33.
  11. an r33, but i've tried it on a 34 with the same problem, flashing and continuously onseems to donate different problems. its the same method to fix a flashing airbag light as described in an r33, for an airbag light thats permanently on, i don't know what the fix is, no error comes up on a consult scan.

  16. i don't know if you've had a serious look at your shock absorbers, a blown one can cause these symptoms, effectively one wheel(s) is just sitting on a spring and bouncing along with the road.

  18. the injector cleaner that you add to your fuel doesn't do shit, to get them clean you have to remove them and take them to a specialist, there's a thread on here somewhere which demonstrated dirty injectors flowed 20-30% less. oops didn't read the second page, glad you got it sorted.
  19. i suppose his decision is going to be based off how much a decat flows better/gains power/ less lag over a highflow cat versus the risk of being ass raped by the state government. i don't think anybody here actually has any quantitative answer to how much decat flows better only that 'it does'.
  20. doesn't the stock cat have a heat shield on it? then they'd have to get under your car and take it off to see the surface temp of the cat. which means it needs to be on a hoist. which means you're at an EPA station, which means you've been issued an EPA notice already... point is. could any cop/road side inspection tell that your running a 'decat' inside a cat shell.
  21. yeah >< i see now, had it in my head that turning it into the cat into a 'decat' was just taking out the honeycomb, not also welding in a straight 2.5/3 inch pipe though it.
  22. i see, in that case couldn't you just run a 'decat' with a catalytic shell? That would be next to impossible to tell.
