IMO the ECU is not smart enough to reduce timing for 95 oct fuel. It has a knock sensor in the middle of the valley, and if that senses too much knock, it will retard. It doesn't sense your fuel and adjust. The knock sensor doesn't work very well either, as shown by the fact we had a car with a hole through #6 piston to replace the engine on, from too much det. 4 cents a litre, or risk having to change a motor if you get it wrong. I know what I'm doing.

Forgot to mention, I saw an Enzo on trader plates around south Sydney ( for the dealership there). Was about 2pm last Thursday I think. Sounded quiet. Must not have had the wank valve open!

In regards to the Uprev, the seller can provide a screen shot that states that the cables licence hasn't been used. This happens when you flash the "back to stock" map onto the ECU. Your ECU part number will almost certainly be different, so I don't know how you go about getting the editable maps for your ECU. Maybe its a case of emailing Uprev.

4 speeds and early 5 speeds drop into 3 and 4 respectively. When the gearbox was updated with the 2004.5 they changed the programming, and it drops into whatever gear you are in at the time, except 5th,where it goes into 4 th. Right?

Good thread bump. Saw an LFA this morning on pennant hills road. Looked ok, but I wish I had a chance to hear it put the throttle down.

I've never heard a southbend. To be honest, I haven't heard enough clutches to know confidently if it would be normal. But this is what I'd do. Continue to bed it in for the 500 miles. Then gradually lean on it more and more until you give it heaps. If it survives, it will be fine. Stop worrying and get a louder exhaust.

If the bleeding was bad you would get a bad pedal feel, and it wouldn't fully disengage. I've driven a nismo single coppermix, and it does make noises, as people with the nismo twin have also described. Coz is right, drive it for a while and your figure what's normal and what's abnormal. Don't expect it to be a stock one, it's uprated.

Wonder if they used the correct fluid when they did this "full service" Buddy, a shift kit isn't going to fix your gearbox if its rooted. It's going to make it more rooted. Check the fluid, properly, when the car is hot. Go from there.
