having owned 2 R35 GTR,s and sometimes driven them fast on a track, they are without doubt very very quick. So there is nothing stopping you from driving them fast on the road (only your own state of mind) However when it does go wrong at that kind of speed in one of these cars, or any other car for that matter. It will always end badly. There were 4 people in this car I am led to believe , so the 2 in the back had no chance there is very little leg or head room let alone trying to get out in a bad crash like this one. My Condolences to all involved.

weight of gearbox r32 and r33 4x4 box hi I have not been on in a while, but I have a question, you could help me with how heavy is a R32 4 x 4 gearbox and is it the same as a R33 4 x 4 box. Thanks all.

I have looked on sites in the UK and when they fit these box,s they buy a controller that can adjust the torque split to the front diff.

The standard 4x4 box in these cars is pretty week above 350 BHP and more importantly not as readily available in OZ as GTR box,s. Also it is permanently 4x4 but the GTR is selectable 2 or 4wd.

cut this off. Weld this on.

Have to do this to the bellhousing and modify the front and rear drive shafts.

No just the ATTESA pump, pipes and reservoir. Its a regular thing in the UK to do this mod, It has been done a good few times lots of info on sites over there.

It is going in a 4 wheel drive track car. A ford escort RS Cosworth will put picks up tonight. I'm in work at the moment.

And what type of ATTESSA pump, something was mentioned about twin (coil / solenoid) ???

I would like to know what type of box it is R32 or R33 etc etc. It will need modifying quite a bit and may need some internal parts at some point.

I asked the guy selling it about that and it has both threaded holes for push and pull. It had a multi plate clutch and racing pressure plate on the engine.

the thing is it came out of a stagea that used to be an auto but was converted to manual.
