sorry to be ignorant, im new to GTR ownership, but what does the renew programe do. 20,000km service tomorow, $950 new air filters, oil filter and engine oil.

No dramas now, got the camber, toe and caster settings. For the front and rear wheel alignment, Everyday driving, sports, circuit and Spec V settings.

Can anyone help with the caster, camber and toe in measurements of the R35 GTR i have had my front tyres wearing rapidly on the standard wheel tyre setup. Just got 4 new tyres and would like them to last a bit longer than 1600km. is there a set up better suited to road use where the front tyres will last longer? If so can someone put it up on here so i can get the tyre mob to adjust it when they fit the tyres.

Just been and booked the R35 in for a service at local nissan dealer, been quoted $950 for a 20,000km service is that right? what do they do for the 20k service?

going for the 20,000km service with Nissan then after that i will DIY all the small stuff.

when i got mine some months ago, i went interstate bought it from Sydney for $108,000 with 9000kms on it. Also got shafted on stamp duty. what a rip off.

Started to make up a home made harness for this on mine, took a couple of diodes and so far got all 4 lights on now, but the small ones seem brighter than the outer ones, probably need some voltage regulators now to dim them down a bit. JUST A NOTE TO BEWARE OFF. When i first started to do this i came accross a problem, that with the inner lights on i could start the car without putting my foot on the brake pedal, didnt like that so had to fit 2 other diodes to sort that out. will let you know as i go along.

Just finished fitting a tracker and anti hijack device to the new toy. All works good tracking in realtime on Google maps and remote shutdown.

How much, on average is a 20,000km service on a 35 GTR

Also what if i were to disconect the battery negative, say to put some accessories on or in it. when i reconect the battery do i have to go to nissan to reset anything, IE, ECU or TPMS yada yada.

Ok a quick one if i were to be merrilly driving along and my 15amp fuel pump few blew would it cause any damage to the engine? Alternatively if the same thing (fuse Blow while i was driving) were to happen to the 10 amp engine control relay? Just curious.

can i get the camber settings changed to road setup at any laser alighnment centre? or does nissan have to do it? if so what are the settings that make the tyres wear out more evenly, This 15000km on a set of front tyres is just not on.

When i was looking at buying one i was told to get an ADM car, I got mine from Sydney just like that one red mine had just over 9000km on it. It cost me $108,000 now it has about 15,000 km,s andd the front tyres are worn out on the inside as well, i dont know if its true but im sure i heared somewhere that the front suspension has 2 settings road and Track, and they are set to track from factory. Before i get the new tyres i will try and get more info on this.

OK been looking at these, they look the bis, my question is. I have an Ipod i want to leave it in the car all the time (in the glovebox maybe) with all the music on it. Does this device power the Ipod as well. Dont want to use the bluetooth phone part, as the car already has this. If i got this can i use the remote to access the ipod music files. What are the other makes of these. that may work as well.

I am looking at getting a COBB access port for my GTR, will get it direct from the US and flash it myself.

What about GTR 35 anyone any good with them (Not Nissan)

I have been told ny a rego selling company that i can not sell the rego GTR 35C that came with my car. Bugger. she said this. Personalised plates in the format of 3 x letters, 2 x numbers and 1 x letter cannot be sold in NSW as you can only transfer the Right to Display the plates to an immediate family member. Therefore you cannot sell them to anyone who does not meet this criteria. Only fully customised number plates can be transferred to any other individual. myplates.com.au Is this correct? If so it will just be an ornament on the garage wall.
