just had it done at a local nissan HPC took about 5 hours left it with them and they called when it was done.

Just got a letter from Nissan, owner notification letter. vehicle service campaign PA208, electronic steering control lock. Anyone else get it? said they will change it free of charge, is this the case if the cars warranty is up?

Finally bit the bullet and bought 9 TPMS repair kits from the USA postage cost more that all 9 kits.

OK i have fitted a Mid/Y pipe, the OEM one weighed about 16kg and the Y pipe weighs 7kg, now i am assuming it only has cats in the standard down pipes, Is that correct. Looking at intakes and K/N type pod filters next. Any sujestions? also flashed it with the cobb stage 2 and TCM reflash stage 2 LC as well.

Can someone please explain what the different parts of the GT-R exhaust system are, i have just got what i thought was a midpipe, it was an easy fit just removed the original piece on the car and this just bolted on. It is just a stainless Y type pipe so is it a Y pipe? Where are the cats on this car? pics would be good. will be asking more questions as time goes on. Regards Tony.

I have been trying to contact the mob that sell the TPMS repair kits in the UK, but due to the amount of time envolved they do not allow questions on there ebay listings, and the phone number does not get answered, however a guy on the UK GT-R site said he has heared from them after he bought and paid for some, so i am just waiting on him to see if they actually arrive. If they do i will try again. Also they can be bought from the USA on there ebay site. I can put the listing numbers up if people are interested.

Bugger it, bit the bullet and just ordered them from the UK.

I had a puncture the other day, got it repaired and now the tyre slowly goes down, went back to the tyre fitters and they checked the tyre, they said it was fine so now 7 days later it is still slowly deflating. went on the UK GTR site and they say that it may be the TPMS valve leaking slowly. i have found that you can get kits to repair them on a UK website, are they availible here in OZ or is it a nissan only part.

I have a pair of endless, bonnet pop up cancellers, bought from the UK but not needed on my car. Looking for, $150 O.N.O for the pair. plus post. Used to prevent the low speed pedestrian collision, device from popping up the bonnet, if a pedestrian or kerb/vehicle is hit at low speed. Can post pics if needed.

Does the Australian delivered 2009 GT-R have the pedestrian colision sensor and rams? Does anyone have them on there car? the ones that lift the bonnet slightly during a low speed collision with a pedestrian or cirb. I have looked at mine and cant see anything fitted to it.

Anyone know where i can get the OEM wiring plugs. For the rear lights?

Just had my 20,000km service with Northside Nissan , $950 so now i will be looking at getting some performance upgrades as well. First of all, i need to get the front and rear suspension alighnment done.

The value of resistor that you need to use to get the inner lights to be the same brightness as the outer ones is 172 ohms. So, you need 2 diodes the resitor and some wires easy. The most difficult part to get to make it a plug and play is the OEM white 6 pin wiring plugs.

In short NO. Agreed value is as it says agreed value. However, the insurance company will try other ways to get out of paying it.

brake lights only. brake and park lights. 4 park lights. I need to make sure that they work ok first before i decide what to do, i didn,t do it to make money, just wanted too see how hard it was to do, as on other GTR sites, the kit looked like a small box. If anybody wants i can post up the wiring diagram, and some pics of the harness,s but not till next week as i am not neer the car till then. Tony.
