I FARKING WISH!!!!!! I was thinking of doing an R34 after I finish the 33 but considering all the BS laws, rules, regulations and cops with nothing else to do, I'm not sure anymore. Maybe just a set of 2530s would be nice on a R34, prob not a NUR though. Their a little hard to find and if I did find one, too expensive to muck around with....

I received an EPA notice in the mail back in October for excessive noise. Someone else was driving my car when they passed a copy car who had pulled someone else over. My car pulled into a driveway a couple houses down as this was his destination. 2 weeks later, I received the notice and had 30 days to have the car tested for sound. Somehow, my car had to come in at less than 90db at 4200rpm..... How did a car like mine pass I hear you ask??? It's a long story but let me tell you that a dead stock R33 GTR including exhaust reads at 89.2 db and not all Midnight purple R33 GTRs are the same as mine Oh and BTW, they don't give you certificates with smiley faces and passes to stick to your boot anymore. I don't even know where I put my copy of the statement which I sent to the EPA.

The blue R34 with the plates BNR34 is/was Dean's car. I think he may have sold it recently but that's not confirmed. The black one with the Do Luck kit in Megala's photo belongs to Evan who is a partner of Ice Performance There is also a silver one which belongs to a guy who owns a restaurant in Station St Box Hill. I see it parked out there a fair bit. I've seen a fair few of them out there, you just gotta look for em.

I had an absolute ball. Thanks to all who helped organise it. Lots of cars always means lots of attention, locals and cops. Arthur's Seat climb was fun. Bailed off from there to go to Sorrento though but I hope everyone else had fun on the way down and back to Melb. Hanging for the next one.

If this is gonna be a big turnout, will the Albert Park pits hold us all? It's not exactly the World's largest car park.... Also, I think that we keep the route that you've mapped out but make sure to make it clear to everyone that noone is responsible for the actions of others and in no way does SAU condone reckless driving, speeding, etc. All risks are at the owner/driver's responsibility. Make sure that it is clear that this is not a race and people are advised to drive within their own limits. Just my 2c worth.

Pawley, Can you give us the width size of your rim please. What is the largest tyre size that will fit on the rims which you may trade?

It is true that manuals should be dynoed in 4th but due to the 200km/h speed limits on most DynoDynamics dynos, a lot of runs are done in 3rd as 4th is past 200 km/h. 4th is a 1:1 ratio and therefore a true power figure at the wheels assuming that the dyno is calibrated correctly in the first place.

According to Gerald, the piping will be 2.5" but it has to be fabricated. Apparently the HKS piping would suit your needs but that's up to you. He also said that coz you have a SAFC installed, it probably wouldn't be the best idea fitting it all and going for a cruise as the AFC needs to be tuned again considering the new levels of air going into the system. I think the best course of action is to fit the IC but not plumb it up until next week when we can get you on a dyno to tune the AFC. I can send you pix in a couple weeks as they are stored at a friend's factory and he is on holidays until mid Jan. If you pay for the shipping and handeling, the price can be negotiated a bit I guess. Can you post some pics of the Volks that you may swap.
