What you currently see at www.iceperformance.com.au is a mockup site just to let people know that the site is there. Coz we are somewhat busy at the mo and our website designer who is building our site is also very busy, the official site won't be up for some time but it will be something quite cool from what I've seen. Stay tuned. I will post when the real site goes up.

I know of 2 R33 GTRs being sold. One dead stock Midnight Purple going for $42k and another white one slightly modded with an estimated 265 Rwkw going for $44k. Let me know if your interested.

Which Spark Plugs for R33 GTS25t with mods???
Leewah replied to GiJOr33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Ahh yes, I remember being told bout all the gear in your car. Good luck finding a tuner in Melb. Maybe if you asked BD4s, they could help you in some way. They are the official distributor of HKS in Aust. Because I've had spark issues recently before the CDI, I went through about 3 sets in 4 months coz of fouling the plugs. Fouling copper plugs was a much cheaper option than platinums. I reckon most people around here would use either the 6 or 7. If your not going to be driving hard that often, I would say the 6 would be a better option. Also the 6 would give a better cold start. Cleaning the plugs is simply a case of hammering the car stupid for bout 5 mins. That should clean all the charred stuff off. If that fails, WD40 and sandpaper does wonders. On the other hand, $3 for coppers plugs may save you all the time and effort -
OS GIKEN Triple plate clutch
Leewah replied to Driftn 180's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Are you sure that this is a pull type and not push type? I currently have a OS twin plate which is push type and am looking to move to a triple plate. -
Which Spark Plugs for R33 GTS25t with mods???

I was lucky coz my partner was selling a brand new Autronic CDI for $750 which was cool to match my Autronic ECU. Usually I think the CDI is about the $900 mark retail and then you need it installed. The spark is HUGE!!!! I recommend a CDI to anyone who wants to run high levels of boost. I'm now leaning towards the copper plugs coz from what I've been told and researched, copper is a more conductive material than platinum or iridium. The only problem is that you have to change your plugs more often. What kind of tuning do you need? Give us a call at the factory on 9512 7591 and ask to speak to Gerald or Nigel. They should be able to either help you with the tuning or point you in the right direction. -
OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch
Leewah replied to Leewah's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
OS, Ogura and ATS actually make you convert to PUSH type, not PULL in the R33 GTR.... A lot of the single plate clutches remain as a pull type in the R33 GTR but for some reason, they all think that a PUSH type setup is better. Anyways, the clutch is still for sale -
I'll cut you a deal. I'll change gears 2000 rpm before my rev limiter

OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch
Leewah replied to Leewah's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Driving a twin plate isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Of course it is harder than a stock or upgraded single plate clutch but the grip from a twin plate is more than adequate for a car with less than 350 rwkw. Slip isn't a problem if driven correctly and for those who have seen or met me, I'm not the biggest guy around but I didn't have a problem clutching in peak hour traffic with it. The conversion kit doesn't come with the clutch as I need it for my triple plate but the kits are available from plenty of places. On the other hand, if you can get your hands on the front of a R32 and 33 GTS-T and R32 pre 94GTR, then no kit is required as these are already push type. -
I still run NGK Copper plugs in my car with the standard 1.1mm gapping Works fine. As GTST said, the NGK copper plugs actually do have a higher conductivity (if there is such a word) rate than the plats or iridium. Longevity is the benefit from not using coppers.

I know you're trying to get a rise outta me and it ain't gonna happen today I admit that on any given day, I will drive the car in the most inconspicous way possible coz of the number of canaries which flying round these days. I'm not one to make a huge scene out there. If you took notice of my car, it's probably only coz it has white Volk Challenge rims on it which contrasts with the purple. I have been known to open the wastegate once in a while late at night but the fact is that you'll only hear the gate when there is someone out there worth challenging. Petrol is expesive these days and at 22L for the 100kms at normal driving, I don't have a lot of it After the cruise on the 10th, I started with a full tank and after coming back from Arthur's Seat, my tank was less than a quarter. 600 horses? Now that I've sorted my spark problem, get ready for some real hp Besides, INSANT, even when I do drive like a granny, I reckon I could give you a decent run for your money As for being rich.....well that is nothing but perception really. I'm pretty broke now that I've bought a house

OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch
Leewah replied to Leewah's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
The standard GTR uses a pull type clutch. I think you will find that most decent aftermarket clutchs (include OS, Ogura and ATS) all are push type. The clutch will fit directly on R32 and 33 GTS-T and R32 GTR pre 94 and any other car which have been modifed to fit a push type. There are plenty of kits which will convert the clutch setup from pull to push. -
Hey Static, You may wanna check out http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...highlight=vspec Just do a search using the link at the top of the page and you should find some info.

I have an OS Giken Twin Plate push type clutch for sale. I'm no upgrading to a triple plate now that I can increase my boost past the measly 18psi. I don't know how much plate is left on the clutch as it is still in the car. I've only had the clutch in there since August so I can't imagine that it's worn all that much. I'm aksing $1200.00 for it as I believe that the plates are still in excellent condition. If the plates are in worse condition than expected, I am willing to negotiate on the price.

Exactly as it says above I'm in need of an oil temp sender from an R33 GTR. Senders from other models do not fit apparently. FYI: The sender is the bit that comes off the block near the oil filter. If anyone has one that they no longer require or they can recommend somewhere I can get one, please let me know. I need one ASAP.

hehehehe I haven't made it to the Wasteland yet so I think my posts may be down on the rest of you post whores. Work is slow sometimes

I figure the engine will be good for about another 7-9 psi but I'm gonna make sure that everything is running perfectly before I do real boosting. Anyways, this is BIGPSI's thread. Enough bout me. Soz bout the hijack....
-
Sorry Megs, Here's a closer look for ya....
-
No Hi-jacking of threads here mate Not sure bout all 4's. Now that we dyno at Racepace, I only get to see Rwkw. But at last check which was back in July,I recorded 360 Rwkw at 18psi. Now that I've got a couple more toys in there, I should be able to utilise more of my hairdryer and run some real boost. I'll give you a final dyno figure in the next couple months when we sort some things out.

Thought that I recognised some of the work on the car. Ben did a fair bit of work on my engine to get it to a very satisfying point. All my other work was done by Ice Performance except the buggy fuel system which was done by Speed Technology and the Autronic installation which was done at Amberley before Ice Performance took over the job of building me an animal car

G'day wutangben, Welcome to the forums. If you would like to find out info about the more covered topics, you can use the search function link near the top of the page. You can use keywords or phrases and even choose which part of the forum you want to search. This is really helpful for topics which are covered constantly such as specs, 1/4 mile times, various mods and dyno figures. Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Unfortunately, Inark is right. We don't supply things like gear knobs, pretty lights or gauges. We can however get pod filters, piping, oil filters, oil and the like. Evo R in Clayton supplies most of the gear your describing. Give them a call.
