  1. I'm running 19x9.5 +12 all round with spacers on rear (15mm or 20mm) 245-35-19 tyres without issue on my 260RS. The ride isn't great i'd probably go down to 18s if it was a daily. I'll be going up to 255-35-19 next time i fit tyres though as i'm not really keen on the amount of stretch i have now.

  4. 18s in the same widths as the 19s would make better track rims in my opinion. Smaller rim = lower rotational mass and unsprung weight = faster Also keep in mind that your tire wall does actually form part of your cars suspension. Have a look at pretty much any well developed race car, they will all have a decent profile tyre. You may even be able to run a slightly oversize tyre on the rear, I've run 245s on 8 inch rims without problems you just need something with a nice stiff side wall. I would be keeping the 19s for street use and looking for a pair of wider rear 18inch rims + 18 stock wheel on the front with some semi-slicks. Hope that helps.
  5. What is the difference in piston area between this kit and GTR brembos? The rotor diameter difference in not massive 332mm vs 324mm. I'm interested but want to be sure it's enough of an upgrade.
  6. Yeah but you're an old fart and you live out back of bum f@*k nowhere. NRMA want to cover the 260RS for $11000 and charge $1900 Shannons will do it for agreed value but dont even ask about the premium Just crap want $2000 for agreed value Living in Sydney pretty much doubles my insurance costs :-(
