fat313, I know a few roadworthy workshops. As for the rego appointment, I called vicroads and they had a cancellation in just 2 hours. I had to rush to reattach the guages and dash, reconnect the factory BOV and get the car roadworthy. I JUST made it in time but it meant I had the car for the weekend.
When I rego'd it, the compliance plates had moved so quickly from printing to my car and to rego that the numbers on it hadn't even been entered into the national database yet. But the guys at the vicroads office were nice and said they'd register it for me and process the paperwork later!
Like I said, 4 months of delays then 1 final day of absolute mayhem!! As I cruise to work weaving between the traffic I know it was all worth it
