Spotted a white r33 in the carpark at Burpengary IGA, gave the driver a SAu card and told her about the site and club, got a wierd look back... Spotted a white r32 at the lights waiting to turn right onto gympie rd at aspley this afternoon and then a gun metal grey r32 going the opposite way to me on the south east freeway, it was inbound, I was out, waved but I was in a gold falcon, so didtn expect a return wave

Well Ernie can, I dunno what his trading name is for his company, but he lives here on the southside of Brissie, I took a look at a gold M35 a couple of months ago, but was trip tronic and was $55k , not that I was interested in buying it, just was curious

I think my main problem with highway driving, is the nismo gears are shorter than stocker r33 gears, I only say this because in my old r33, at 100kph in 5th I would sit on around 2k to 2.5k rpm, where the same with the stagea it sits on 3k to 3.5k rpm Doesnt sound like much of a difference but times it by an hour or five and it adds up.

Yeah I freakin love them, once you see it with a nice kit on it, they look very nice. Seen two, and the kits really make it look more angular than just the stock smeeping lines. Pluse they have some cool features that just didnt come on the SI or SII, like the glass folding up on the rear door and stuff, but each to their own.

I sincerly doubt it, but meh I dont plan to have the time to whore at the new job

For the brief time I had my car on the road, yes it is becoming hard to remember I can now sympathise with brad , anyway I used to get 400kms out of a tank. BUT I know it can do a lot better as when the pfc went to be tuned last they found that there was a block in the radiator, so the workshop tuned it mega rich, just to be on the safe side. That was before I bought the car, and just before I bought it, a new radiator was put in, and I was promised a power tune by the previouse owner/workshop, but because of my wedding and other things I just didnt get time to take it in for it. Then on the 20th of December the rear upper contorl arm on the passengers side decided to break whilst I was slowly going around a corner, which then threw me into the gutter and a HUGE bush on the other side of the road, causing about $10k's worht of damage, thank GOD for insurance! So now I am moving to Rockhampton, and the car is still in being repaired, to which I have been told it should be ready by the 24th, which is good because we are driving up to Rocky on the 25th..... So why have I typed out my whole life story, because I will be driving just over 600kms very shortly with a (hopefully) properly tuned pfc, so I'll post my results when I get there, and get net access

Yes it is a great equation: Lakeside + HQ's = Hell Fun!! Jamming the column shift into second rounding the last corner before the straight, at the bottom of the hill in one of those rOcKs! Oh and watching all the gemini's pile into each other approaching turn 1, gold. Oh and watching the truck racing. I could go on forever!

So who else is up for a nice drive up tp Rocky?

Happy BDay, wether it be now or later, love muffin!

Asked a mechanically minded mate at work and the answer I got from him was........ Depends if all the mounts were there for the fronts on the back. The disc should go on, not sure about the caliper, you may have to fabricate something up? Also when you are making any chnages to the brake system, make sure to make sure that the brake bias is still appropriate, or you will go around locking up your backs all the time

BAM, I cheated, if you look at the reply email it is sent to a certain person @bcec.com.au. So I called up the Convention Centre on 3308 3000, and asked to be put through to that person's name and spoke with her, and she said that no, it was legit and she has been printing them out and sending them hourly down to the information desk. The ticket is for 1 entry for that day only, I must say she was very helpful and friendly. She aslo mentioned that Holden were sending through the same emails to her as we recieved, and in no way keeping record of how many had been given away, but was adament that Holden was only giving away 100. So that is good enough for me!

Looks like it is legit, the email that I got originated from a mail server in Detroit, from the GM HQ IP range, so I would say it is legit. I'll be taking print outs of the email, and if it doesnt eventuate well then South Bank is just a short stroll away Big thanks to 34-JET for the heads up, you're a champ!
