  1. Dunno, never driven a stocker or been a passenger in one, was spoilt by buying mine all modded up
  2. Kinda sorta, my issue seems to be that I dont get any new posts marked, everything is read, even when I know there is new posts...?
  3. I drove a auto for five years, and have decided NEVER to buy one again. One of the bonuses of buying mine was that it had the very expensive auto to manual conversion done, and the gearbox was rebuilt with nismo heavy set gears, so I'll never have to worry about breaking it I hate auto's with a passion.
  4. mmMMmmMMmm very nice, esp cause now you have clear fronts, sides and rears. Well done!
  5. Had a short chat with a young bloke in a black R33 with nice white rims at the caltex outside the hyperdome on friday night, very, very cool custom made front bar!!!
  6. Ska

    Give Away!

Got most of it on hold for another SAu member, but was going to call up the salvo's if he doesnt come and get it eventually.
  7. Saw a black S1 driving up Nujooloo Rd (Southside Brisbane) yesterday around 10am.
  8. Yeah if you post within 3 mins of another post, then it joins them up, I guess to prevent post whores from filling threads up...? Still AwEsOmE pictures eh!! Thanks! I see QLD plate there Really nice scenic place to take pictures too! Funny all the black marks on the road, gives it that "beauty and the beast" feeling
  9. So anyone going to the Logan one. I'll think I'll go just to see what all the hub-bub is about, doubt they'd listen to anyone's suggestions though. They probably already have tabulated up all these new crappy laws, just going through the motions of public consultation to make them look like they care, bunch of money grubby bastards.
  10. hmmm not the easiest way to test for abs, but guess it works....
  11. Oh dear god, WHY?!?!??!
  12. Please post this in the for sale section.
  13. Update on my multi-email issue: Changed to gmail, and it works fine.
  14. OK how's this for wierd. That double email problem of mine does not seem to be SAu's, but only started since the upgrade. The emails go to a "free" email, myrealbox.com, which allows POP3 and SMTP access as well as web based access. I closed Outlook, turned immediate email notification on for the qld whore thread, waited for a couple of posts and checked my webmail, hey presto, only 1 email per post. So fired up outlook and it collected them and BAM it doubled them. Sorry for not properly troubleshooting it before I reported it, my bad.
  15. Because it does not create bigger ratings when today tonight do a sob job story on it. But street racing and hoons, WOW ratings go through the roof! THEY MUST BE JAILED! ALL OF THEM!
  16. Me best arguing, HELL NO! I reckon someone like Squizz or Charly would be best suited for this role. Someone who has a higher IQ than mine, which is about 50 C4 is where it's at! Or just just ask chuck, I'm sure he would houndhouse kick them all if he ever got a camera ticket!
  17. OK Well now instead of getting 3 emails per reply I only get two.........? Nice work on the topic in the subject!
  18. Oh Oh Oh! Pick ME! Pick ME! I certainly know how to cause a scene Was seriously thinking of going to the logan one and quoting bob's great point about costing more to bury then educate people. I wonder if there will be any media there at all.......?
  19. Yeah but what can we do about it? Once the other side get in, they'll be just as bad, if not worse, in this aspect possibly not the others (eg hospitals et al). They give us stupid forums like this: http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/youngdrivers How to have your say * Complete the feedback form in the young driver's discussion paper (PDF 950kb*) and post or fax the completed form to: Queensland Youth - on the road and in control Reply Paid PO Box 673 Fortitude Valley Queensland 4006 Fax: 61 7 3253 4422 * Complete the online electronic feedback form which returns your feedback via email. * Attend your local Community Forum to discuss the possile changes with independent road safety experts. If people cant read and write properly, they are offered education to help them, why should driving be any different?!?!?
  20. Honestly I wouldnt have a clue, all I know is what I have heard from mates and stuff. Have been told that all it does is filter out the petrol vapour out of the air venting from the fuel tank so that it does not vent to the atmosphere....? But hey I am by no means a mechanic, just offering suggestions...?
  21. Yeah could be loose/slipping belts, good point Leshy! I personally have never heard any noise from my stagea or my skyline canister, although I have never really tryed to listen specifically to it before either....?
  22. Well when I point my sarcasm meter at the post.........
  23. Could be not bolted down tightly, maybe? You sure it's the canister? Sounding more like something is definatly loose.
  24. Ummmm charcoal canister is just for letting the fuel tank breathe, so what do you mean by, "is load as a mofo... "?
  25. Check all pipes for leaks? Could be a cooler pipe leak? Same with exhaust? Or pinging? best way to describe pinging from me is like put a small stone in an empty coke can and shake it inside your engine bay...? After asking a mechanic mate: Could be something loose or broken and rubbing, like a motor/gearbox mount, or a tailshaft? If it is only happening under load, then it is being caused by the load, or associated under load variables (eg increased airflow), or torque twist.
