    Oh ok. Thought it may have been something like that. Would be interesting to have a gauge/readout on that too. Timing belt could need replacing or if it's a "Gates Racing" belt they are noisey. Mine was.

    Nup. always less than zero on idle. Negative pressure = Vac. Positive pressure = Boost.

    Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge or only the stock one in the cluster? Stock doesn't read in psi.

    I meant to ask you too, did you fish the bit of exhaust wheel out of your Cat?

    You don't want to earth it do you? If plumbed in with the 32 actuator you'll get 12 + psi. Just a hose from the turbo nipple to the actuator will give 10psi. Take the solenoid out.

    Agreed. If it was my Kid, it would be a big NO WAY! to any Turbo / Powerful car. The P plater laws should definately exist in the ACT also.
