Anyone who does not believe LS1 utes are fast should check out the latest issue of Perth Street car. The ute on the cover is running 10's at the 'Plex on the funny stuff. THATS IMPRESSIVE in anybodys books. I may not like the seadans and the rear end handling of the sedan and coupe but the ute is cool.

The thing with the law is it's abiguity. It's not clear and left to the descretion of the Officer (or Judge ) involved. A cop can just say I reckon thats not stock and not legal and thats it you have to pop the bonnet. However if the car is in your driveway you can polietly ask them to get a warrant... But you gott admit it Joe there sure isn't anything better than watching a Judge tear strips into a cop...

Everyday I cross the new Roe highway under construction. Watching it slowly coming togther. Sweet looking sweeping curves and smooth asphalt. This is seriously going to be a good road to do runs on . And today they were testing the street lights and doing the finishing touches. Anybody knows when this thing is going to be ready? It's just SOOO tempting......

New otta the box the Falcon Turbo is US$20K find another car in the world NEW for that money and features .. Nope didn't think so. It's cheap and goes well .. but most of all it's open to modifications and takes to them well. Bang for ya buck..

Hey PVA was that you tail gating me the red pulsar yesterday about 6 ish in South Perth? Big SDU stickers on a grey line. Anyhow is that also your car on the road running adjacent to the Freeway with the busted rear drivers side window? Man that car looks worse for wear. And another thing spot trying to rear end mate the uslar dude.:shake:

Had a bad one of those on the weekend. The Ulsar was giving off a rubber smell on the way home on Sat night. Sunday arvo took a look and the rear hand brake line was lying across the exhaust. Really bad design gives bugger all room for the hand brake cable beteewn exhaust and fuel tank. Took a while to fix as well..grrr

Keep away from foam and oil filters as they can reduce the life of your air flow meter. The Blitz is good if it has a good base plate. Don't forget the K&N stuff.. it's also cheaper. You should've posted this in the aus mainatiance section.. you would have got more resposes.

It's not the ADR, it's the part of the WA road traffic act. Basically if the conditions are bad you can have them on. Cops tend to be smart arses and think that driving lights are fog lights. There wrong but hey unless your a memeber of the Judicary your at their descretion. The road traffic acts are available as a book and make for interesting reading.

My boss was pulled over this morning for speeding. Nothing new really except the cop car was the same as his. A MAGNA VRX. Talking to the cop apprently he said that they are starting to use them now. You have been warned......

I think you should check the ECU for error codes stored in memory. I think these will have any codes from the knock sensor recorded. But first run some octane booster. I'll dig up the self diag proceedure for the Skyline mean while.......

It's illeagal to have head lights on during the day. 3 points and $100. The RAC are wrong with that ad. Daewoos also have driving lights that come on with the headlights as do the early optioned Soarers (1GZ). Wonder how many of those owners have been busted as a revenue earner.

Phills mechanical in Maddington. They only do imports and compliacing.

If your at home the car in Neutral and the hand brake on rev it from under the bonnet using the throttle value ( not the cable you may kink it ) Have a listen around as to where the noise is coming from.
