  1. You cant buy them as a kit, can you.. Would be good if you could! hint, Hint...
  2. Good idea, but its a pain in the arse. I'm trying to get rid of the abs in my r32 (the abs unit is shagged) and even that will be a pain.. The master cylinder needs too be changed along with all steel sections of brake line and then in your case the abs computer and sensors would all need to be installed... So basiclly, unless you have a written off r33 with abs fitted then it really is too hard.
  3. Hey everyone, Just trying to hunt down a silvertop airflow meter for my r32. Must be willing to sent to Hobart. Thanks, Daniel
  4. Mine is like this too.. However I have put this down too a leaky abs unit. Just check this first for leaks(my wiring loom to this unit wasn't even plugged in...) Does anyone know if you can change straight over too non abs brake lines and do you need to change both the front and the back lines?? I reckon you would..
  5. Have you got those photo's by any chance? Does it include the injectors/plenum, etc?
  6. Yeah mine does this too with no obvious problems.
  7. After the r32 gts-t abs unit. It is the splitter unit above the strut tower. What price did you have in mind? Cheers.
  8. Does it have abs? Need the abs unit above the strut tower. Thanks.
  9. We have lots of wilderness types of places, but I doubt many of them would be on Targa stages. There's not really one big Targa route as such but a lot of stages in different places. A lot of them are in residential areas too...But then again, some of the better roads away from suburbia arn't even Targa stages. Theres a good one near Cygnet but not much too look at in a sight seeing sence.
  10. Yes we have 95 ron at most servo's. You can get 98 ron but it only comes in barrels at around $1.70ish per/L. Cops arn't a problem unless you speed heaps or do burnouts, they have anti hoon laws here so you can lose your car. The roads are nice and twisty but poor quality in general so if you have hard suspesion bring a pillow... Dont know about routes though.
  11. Hey Guys, Just trying to chase the following: - R32 gts-t(or one thats the same) abs proportioning valve(the abs unit on the strut tower). - R32 Drivers Headlight or the back plasitic part at least(i broke the tabs off for the indicators. Need pics though as i think mine "might" have gtr ones. - R32 Passenger indicator or the back plastic part with all brackets intact(broke these tabs too). It the clear type but I really only need the back anyway. Just p.m. me with a price. Thanks, Daniel
  12. Do you have the Abs module, I get the impression you don't, but if i'm wrong p.m me a price. Thanks, Daniel
  13. Just give garage13.com.au a yell for a price for a 1.5 way. I think the housing was a little extra though. Yeah I don't mind a bit of noise - the positives outweigh the negatives. As for tyre wear, thats not somthing i have to worry about as they don't last long anyway...
  14. Anything anyone knows about Nismo diffs would be appreciated. Mainly just want to know if there is any difference in performance between the old and new style of diffs.
  15. Hey guys, I'm going to purchase a mechanical diff soon. My supplier can get me a Nismo 2-way for $850 straight away but its an older style one(what model would it be?). Would this be a bit inferior to a newer style one and what differences are there to a newer one? If I get a newer one I'll have to wait, so basicly is it worth waiting or isn't there much difference? Thanks, Daniel.
  16. AVL2NV did originally have a RB20DET. I have seen it myself, but it may have been changed. I doubt it though.
  17. Here you go: "Daniel you need the camber links and the short toe/traction links together - if you adjust one you have to adjust the other as they are side by side . Those arms use the standard bushings." Really, if the toe is adjustable then I only need the camber arms to fix the problem, so this e-mail is just sales crap isn't it?
  18. I don't know what a traction arm is either but i will copy the e-mail i was sent by a certain business who sells camber arms.
  19. If you were to get adjustable camber arms, do you need to get adjustable toe/traction arms like I was told? My cars an r32 but it would be the same for an r34 wouldn't it? Very sorry to have hyjacked, but it may be relivant if you do need to change these.
  20. If your doing it yourself remember saftey first! - Don't jump from heights as there may be a nail sticking out of the floor or scrape on the floor. - If you have to yell wear earmuffs - If your grinding don't set fire to anything( I set fire to myself when i was an apprentice...) and wear earmuffs+googles.(good idea to have fire extingser + first aid kit too). - Get professionals to remove any asbetos(most buildings built before 1985 or so are riddled with this crap) or atleast wear a good resporator/wet the asbestos. This stuff is far worse than smoking and cancer can take up to 40 years to set in! - If your working with fabricated materials such as mdf, particle board etc or treated pine/blackwood then wear a dust mask. - All electrical work is to be left to the professionals(get them to check your tools whilw they are about) - use a residule current device to plug your tools into 'cause when use cut through a cord it'll save your life as it did for me twice... And no wearing of thongs(yes that includes the ladies...). Use steel capped boots, these have saved me a few times. And when your missues comes around to help with a skirt and titty top, slap her. I hope this helps someone, its a very dangerous hobby/job to the untrained. Even after 5 years I still have accidents. Dan.
  21. regular 92 octane unleaded is 109.9 here. They're quick to put the prices up but slow to bring it down...
  22. That route through Fern Tree should be good. The part i drive along is fairly smooth and nice and twisty.
  23. Bugger i have the clear ones! Was sort of looking for one with broken glass so its cheap as i only need the back part. thanks for the reply though.
