  1. Gist. Norton is the second worst virus you can get after windows.
  2. I guess carbonetic makes carbotic clutches which is what I got Jim to build for me. Yes it has a stock feel. Of course it is much more bitey than a stocker but the actual pushing in of the pedal is like stock.
  3. Oh I see. I suppose you could get a couple of drums of race fuel sent to you and use it to top your tanks up. I used to get the store manager at Sails to get stuff transported to me out there. I mean I got kicked out so unless I worked for one of the private companies I would have no chance. Also city money is an addiction. It's hard to leave it.
  4. They all do the same thing. How different/better can one be than another?
  5. No point on stock car. There is however, a point in flushing the fluid.
  6. Cheap as. I think you will find the chipping and retune costs more than that. Also I am yet to see a good result from this.
  7. So jealous. I normally hate red cars but that one does it for me. I'm sure it doesn't count but I lived in Yulara for 2 separate years and I have an R34 4 door but these things didn't happen at the same time. Can you get proper fuel there now? I'd love to come out for another stint but don't think it will happen. Also I think I'm black listed...
  8. That is a very large pic. I'm not serious but would be intersted to know what you think it will go for. Might be another year or two before I get a dedicated track car. Sadly there is no where to hook up a tow bar on the R34. I've always loved the concept of being able to take the tow car out if the track bitch dies at an inoportune time.
  9. Soo happy to see it being driven as intended. He took it to a track day up here before he even got it home!
  10. You could try a Fuel Cut Defender which will help and get you more power.
  11. Yeah it takes a while cos it's not a strong solvent but if you go too strong you take paint off too. Not what you want.
  12. Nice one. Pity I already put a couple of gauges there.
  13. I think red is the worst followed by yellow but if you lay some nice polish on it every 6 months and generally garage it I can't see it being a problem.
  14. Sounds like the spring is the problem.
  15. Might as well add a sideline to your thread. Similar thing in Sydney. Hope you don't mind.
  16. Thanks mate. I'll give you a yell when I'm ready and see what you have. I just found out that things like stamp duty and legal fees are classed as CAPITAL expenditure by the ATO so you can't deduct them from your taxable income. You do however deduct them from any capital gain you may make when you realise that gain. Bummer hey. Oh and Shell - it was only a matter of time. Go north. hahaha Seriously I don't care... as long as I don't have to go down there for any reason other than I'm going to the snow. hahahaha
  17. No way. Tell tell.
  18. Ok next step is a heat gun and a razor blade. Be careful.
  19. It can't be that hard to just start taking screws out, and yes it just unplugs and you're away. That said if ALL of the lights are out the problem is probably elsewhere. Check your fuses and other wiring.
  20. I guess he doesn't come on here often. 25 questions to be answered so far. Well in the vid the guy said 10 seconds and 250km/h. That's some serious MPH, imagine if he could get a 100% hook up. I love how last thread you posted everyone was like, 'oh yeah it's ok, not bad, don't like this or that', now it's like, 'f**k yeah, sounds awesome'.
  21. Can I ask why the spacer is necessary? Could you use this turbo with a standard manifold? You're always so grey Adrian. Bite the bullet and say it. It's a BIG turbo for an RB25. You would want an at least 8000rpm redline to make use of the power it's making. If the 0.82 housing is too laggy for you then make Dangerman an offer on his old GT30. Shonen - it's not necessary to high mount it so you don't want it. And to whoever asked what that turbo was beside it, I'm guessing that's the GT30 he took off. I am very interested in seeing how laggy it turns out to be.
  22. Jeez. I presume your car has been in an accident. Have you swapped the wheels across to eliminate that possibility?
  23. Any oil based solvent like prepsol or turps.
