I think maybe they just didn't understand what you were saying and you got lucky. If that always worked anyone could get an account on SAU for nothing then get a discount by saying that proves they are an enthusiast when actually it only proves you can work the internet. The various state chapters of SAU don't charge much for membership and it's worth it in more ways than one.

If that is the same sensor that gives the stock boost gauge its reading then it's fine. Also does the PFC take note of this sensor?

Is that a 1.8mm head gasket or is my maths wrong? I hope you have a big f**k off turbo to make up for the total lack of response that will cause. GTR rods should cost around $150-200. I bought mine for $150 and sold them for the same when I discovered my engine already had them. I can't say I was bowled over by people trying to buy them at that price either. Cams will just help you get the power at a lower boost. ps, I like your bonnet.

Correct AFM is selected. PFC not plugged in atm. Will be going back to it shortly.

Listen to a loaded up mitsubishi express van go past in a gear too low for it. That's pinging. It's a metallic kind of rattling. I can hear it in my car but my exhaust isn't that loud and I don't have a pod. It's easier to hear with the windows up. It's the kind of sound that someone needs to point out to you. Once you know it you know it. Hard to describe otherwise.

Is it an AVC-R? It seems to me that it a few mm too big to fit in there. I've got mine where the ashtray was but obviously that's not out of sight. My PFC hand controller just floats around and ends up under the passenger seat a lot. Maybe you could do that. The cord is long. Maybe have some mount that it easily slips out of then you can slip it under the seat or into the glove box whenever you need to.

No the AFM output does not look ok. The Z32 was showing 1.3 volts at idle and I'm told it should be between 0.8 and 1.1 but I didn't check the RB25 AFM to see what it was reading nor do I know what it should be reading. Also the z32 seemed to shoot up fairly quickly to 4.x volts but then take a while to go any higher. It was doing this even at 7psi of boost. I'll check the things mentioned there tonight thanks guys.

No errors in consult, well no error codes logged.

This is at Eastern Creek so I don't expect that to happen. Not as dodgy as Oran Park. But it doesn't hurt to know these things.

Yeah I've gotta get a lead to use for that. Do you think Repco or whoever would sell them? I've been told less than 9:1 AFR can cause pinging. Haven't checked fuel pressure yet. Didn't bother with pfc maps as it happens with both the pfc and the rom tune.

$150pw per $100k is s safe enough figure for rough calculations I think. It's conservative.

What suburb and type of property would be best to get into now and in the next 12 months or so for an investment. I own a 2 bedroom townhouse in Latham which has been a great investment so far. Just bought in Sydney a month ago so will be looking in canberra for another one in about 12 months or so. I'm a Belco boy originally so biased towards there but Canberra isn't so big and your areas aren't too far away. I just would prefer not to go too far south. Sux down there... Waits for flaming.

Check the line going to it the sensor and the one way valve before that. It's very easy to snap the inlet to the one way valve thus leak some boost and read lower.

I'm running stock bov at over 250rwkw. Exhuast is first. 3 inch turbo back. Try to get a split dump/front pipe. Make sure you get a decent cat. Panel filter in the stock air box is next. I still have the stock airbox. Nismo, apexi, pipercross and others make good replacement panel filters. kudos motorsports on this forum sell the apexi ones cheap enough.
