  2. That's exactly what happened to mine and I blew my engine.
  3. NEO are 350cc. I read this ages ago and have been telling everyone but could never find where I initially read it again. I now know someone who flow tested one and it was just under this. The R33 ones are 370cc.
  4. Sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Check your battery terminals for tightness and corrosion. Then maybe try the connections to the alternator.
  5. I've seen over 300rwkw from a stock bottom end R33 with GT-RS and cams. There is a thread on it somewhere here. You shouldn't be chasing that kind of power with stock bottom end as a general rule though.
  6. As you can see from the first pic here I broke a bit off the parcel tray. When you pull it out you need to push down a little in the corners near the glass so you don't break the little bit like I did. It doesn't really make any difference now as you can't tell I broke it but still. Sydneykid - the second pic is of the 2 struts side by side. As you can see the bilstein has the spring mounted lower on the shock body than the stock one but that's not where all of the difference in height is coming from.
  7. Well I actually had to push the brakes etc down rather than up to get it to fit. Here are some pics of the top of the strut with the seat out as well as the bottom. It's not a stud arrangement on the bottom, you take the bolt out from through the eyes. I had to use a breaker bar to get the nuts of as they were bloody hard to move.
  8. I'll sort it for you shonen. Cef11e - still not sure if I will get it in time for an install this weekend or next. 50/50 atm.
  9. Last time I tried that I made such a mess of it. It looked like I'd given a box of cornflakes to a 3 year old and told him to make me a hat.
  10. I'm thinking GT-RS with some Type B Tomei Poncams. My car is up on chasis stands atm. Was there in the gf's R31.
  11. It's all off at the moment but not split. If you buy me the gasket I'll take it off and trace it all out for you (and take photos from the front angle, side angle, northwest angle, the approach, the getaway and not to mention the aerial photography). I've taken it off once before without replacing the gasket so I'm a bit weary of doing it again because it split last time and will probably break completely this time. That said I might get that gasket with the engine rebuilding set. Does anyone know if this gasket is included with the VRS kit?
  12. I just put 2 gauges in there. I bought a black empty DVD case and cut up the back of it to fit. Works perfectly.
  13. Take it to your local nissan dealer and get them to plug their consult in. That will tell you the error codes and you can go from there.
  14. That's what counts. :):)
  15. Hey mate, I just realised that was you leaving Bel on saturday when I arrived (with my dog). I was searching my head for your plates but couldn't remember who you were. The T04Z is a pretty bloody big turbo. You would need to do some farily major internal work to raise the rev limit to make any use of it at all. I seriously think you are better off deciding on a power figure, maybe go for a ride in some powerful cars to decide, and then pick your parts to suit that.
  16. Well I've done the rears now (pics to follow as I've left them in the camera) and I'm a little worried. They were almost as easy to do. You have to remove the back seat and rear parcel tray to get to the top mounting bolts. Also I needed a second person to put some weight on the disc/hub so as to get the bottom part of the shock off and clear. The bit that worries me is the height. The car was already off the ground when I started so I couldn't measure height. With the front strust assembly when I took off the top cap bit the spring expanded a few inches past where it was compressed to but the new springs that came with the bilsteins the spring's uncompressed height was the same as when the cap was bolted on. Overall both the bilsteins with new springs (which I would have assumed to be lower than stock and matched to the bilsteins) and the stock shock and springs were the same height when out of the car side by side. The bilsteins may have been up to a cm shorter as I didn't measure them properly. On the rears I put the bilsteins with springs and the stockers put side by side on the ground and the bilsteins are at least an inch shorter. Now either the fact that the bilsteins came from a 2 door and my car is a 4 door has just come in to play or this is normal or something else. Please advise me peoples.
  17. When the M4 was built the government signed a contract that said they can't make any improvements whatsoever to any part of parramatta road from the start of the m4 onwards (west).
  18. People who live in streets with speed humps know that they increase noise from cars because they are slowing down then speeding up again. I don't think your new people to the street are the culprits judging by the "just like the idiots that used to use..." comment. I drive normally with not much boosting the last little bit before I get home so I don't need the turbo timer so that's an easy fix.
  19. I have seen a crank from a 93 R32 GTR and it had the short drive so while there are some R32's with the longer drive they must have been fairly late in the piece.
  20. Nice Mik. I should have stayed longer... What fuel pressure did you end up with at idle? That's a 3 inch exhaust and stock airbox too guys. Shows what's possible.
  21. I asked him by pm for some details and he couldn't attach the pic to the pm so posted it here. I don't think he's pushing it.
  22. ahh i see.
  23. Are you saying the r33 injectors will fit the NEO? That's definitely not right sorry.
