  1. Well according to NGK the Iridiums do have advantages over Platinums. They last longer for one thing.
  2. I'm going from Sutherland, if anyone else is pm me.
  3. IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111
  4. There's another big one coming in right now.
  5. I forgot to look out my window as it went past. My view is from the bridge east out the heads, bondi, etc. The chicks do go out for a root though. Even my receptionist and her friends are and she's 62!!!
  6. I think I'm going to close this before it goes bad. Not having a go at anyone, just seeing the warning signs.
  7. rukus - case in point.
  8. Oh and just to throw a spanner in the works, my mate got stabbed in Cabramatta by a white guy! haha I can laugh now cos he is ok. It was years ago.
  9. Ooh ooh I know this one... umm... ahhh... whitey's!!!!!!!1 What do I win? hehe. Yes arseholes are arseholes. I had to report something to the cops the other day. 1st q: "were they young males?" yes. 2nd q: "were they are middle eastern appearance" well yes. Did they do anything (the cops)? No. So what's the point of asking what they look like? Maybe they would have come if I said they were whiteys. Who I feel sorry for are all the decent and cool 'people of middle eastern decent', lebs, pakis, greeks, italians, spaniards, etc, etc cos they get picked on, hassled, marginalised or whatever just cos of how they look. Maybe it seems to me that there are bunches of bad lebs out there because I'm white. Maybe if I was a leb I would feel the opposite. People's views are shaped by the windows they look out of. Sydney sux. People suck. All except for you beautiful people of course.
  10. I wouldn't say much different but yes different. I was waiting for him to discover CR for himself. Also your machinist/builder can make whatever CR you want really. Cheers. So I guess the chambers on the NEO are smaller then? I had a little taken out and with 87 mm bores and the wiseco's I ended up with about 8.75:1 CR.
  11. Sure.
  12. 18x8.5 front 18x9.5 rear is max. More rear grip from bigger rear tyres. This makes you more aware of the lack of front end grip. The R34 has quite neutral steering and you are messing with this but you kind of do anyway when you increase the power.
  13. Check your caster bushes. It sounds like they are stuffed. I replaced the rods entirely to get more adjustment.
  14. What do you want to do with the car? It's a bit of a personal choice thing really. At most basic I would suggest -1 degree camber, max caster, 0 toe.
  15. Why do you need it? Maybe there is something else you can do.
  16. I had the same one. The flash speed in turbo converters should be higher than n/a ones I think Mike said. No noticeable change in fuel economy, it was shit before and shit after.
  17. Pull clutches have lighter pedals than push type. GTT has pull type. GTST's have push. R34 GTR has pull but different flywheel so needs clutch to match.
  18. It's TOO hot! Damn near singed myself when I got too close!
  19. There's a newish coating they can put on it that's black and actually increases the ability of the cooler to cool. I was talking to Pro Coat about it. He is on the Central Coast but does lots of mail order stuff. Pm me if you want his number.
  20. If you are regularly pulling down NEO engines then why don't you take a pic of the rods you pull out, maybe put them next to some RB26 ones. Even better take some measurements. You are the only person I know still saying that they don't have GTR rods in them. The part numbers are even the same for all the GTR's and the NEO RB25 in FAST. I will have to admit that I did not personally view my own rods however I gave my engine builder some R32 GTR rods to replace them and he said that when he put them side by side they were identical. I can't think of any reason why he wouldn't use the GTR rods supplied if they were different. As for putting on an oversize turbo then turning the boost down - have a think about what you're saying dude. 350rwkw from an RB25 is going to be laggy with the best possible turbo so why the hell would you introduce more lag deliberately. If your answer is "i'm getting a really good price" then sell it and get something more appropriate. I can't comment on valve train because I only run about 19-20 psi but maybe you should look at some slightly bigger cams like the Tomei Procams. I don't think you need a GTR crank as you can get a crank collar fitted to deal with the small oil pump drive issue which should be enough. Jun oil pump? (There goes a grand) N1 water pump. Basic rebuild for 350rwkw? These two terms don't belong in the same sentence together. Bloody oath they are a must. I use Wiseco pistons because they are teflon coated from factory and have long skirts which I believe helps keep them straight in the bore thus less long term wear which probably doesn't matter to you. Any pistons for RB25 will fit the NEO. If I was rebuilding again I would look at coatings for lots of the moving parts like bearings and so on. A 3.5" exhaust would be helpful but a quality 3" one will do the job. A good diff will be essential. What have you got? Tyres? What kind of intercooler do you have? Do you think it's capable of it's new job?
  21. The fastest group of course. We might have a spot or two pop up so if you are keen please let me know.
  22. Abo Bob

    Thanks

Can't be pres without pissing someone off.
  23. As mentioned in the other thread. More positives please. Who had fun?
  24. I think that email you got Andrew was very good I appreciate it. We will be dealing with this in a fair and reasonable way to all concerned. I'm sure we will never get an apology from the two twats (non entrants) at the end so this is one big step above them in my book. Let's not focus on the negatives guys. We had a great time yes?
  25. Our public liability insurance cost $55 from CAMS as we are cams affiliated. Affiliation costs vary on the amount of members your club has but not too much. Hire of Granville Park was $234. We did have to ask about 8 venues before we got a yes that we were happy with. (Got 3 unsatisfactory yeses.)
