cooks44: not sure where the webster st lights are - i don tknow the names of roads around there i was driving down cheltenham rd to the princess hwy, in between those roads, at the train line crossing is where it happened.... true it wasn't that warm... i really have nfi what could of happened - he could of just been fking with me to get a laugh from his mates, he could of been trying to car jack me.. he could of wanted to create some trouble.. nfi and i did go to the cops yesterday morning, they said there was very little they could do about it - just took down a report of what happened etc...

yeah my mate who has a GSR has a mechedy(nfi how to spell it) and he says he's pulled it out a few times when people have approched him, it gets a good reaction...

yeah, i did see a cop car on the side of the princess hwy about 2-3ks after it happened trying to get people speeding... was considering pulling over and telling him but figured he'd probably just try to defect me instead of chasing the guy.... now i've had time to think about it, i guess i did do the right thing, me and my car are untouched.. thats what counts... would of been a much cooler story if i got out with my club lock tho

is it possible to get the starter motor out in a 33GTR without taking the gearbox out? looks like a tight fit?

not sure what happens - but i know i've been told when washing/cleaning engine back just dont get the air filters wet *shrugs*

driving home about 1:20am.. going through dandenong at the time, passed a white VR/VS commondore with 4 young guys in it... went around the corner, train lights were on, stopped, saw them coming behind me, passenger rear door opening, guy gets out about 20-22yo, white, no shirt, with a crowbar of some description starts waking towards my car... without even thinking , slammed it in reverse and gave it some gas (luckly no cars behind me), drove back about 10meters, he got back in the car, i sat there about 10meters behind waiting for them to go after the train was gone.... that was my scare for the night.. i didn't do anything to agrevate it... i overtook them (dual lane road) not being a smart ass or anything, didn't look or anything etc... got his rego will the cops do anything if i tell them about this - being threatened etc? the more i think about it the more i wish i just got out of my car with my clublock and just tell him if he's going to touch me or my car he must be as dumb as he looks since i have his rego and his description... really not sure if he would of done anything to me/my car.. i had 1 passenger... very wound up right now... farkn FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF what would you have done? what should i do now? I can find out where he lives from his rego... but i dunno...

between the 33 GTR and 33 Vspec how noticable is the 100times a sec to the 1000 times a sec?

just get the plates from a R32 GTR and put them on your R34 GTR - it will claim it is a 89 model

as for the fuel thing you could try reseting your ECU? running rich isn't a bad thing - anyone who has mods generally runs thier car rich - less chance of combustion etc..

hondas are more expenisinve imo, especially if you take it to a honda dealership to get serviced.. the good thing about skylines is the community - everyone is willing to help out - alot of the people with them on here know the basics about cars and can service their own, and know what it should / shouldn't cost servicing won't be as expensive as your honda

i would offer but your in syd .. i spend a bit of time in the states, and no one over there knows what a skyline is I think thats slowly changing..

just got the lock off and the barrel out - piss easy now i've done it - thanks heaps for the instructions meshmesh looking at the way mine came off, i'm wondering if it can be fixed, look slike i may just be missing some kind of small clip/washer on the back that holds the slidy nissan plate on - if anyone knows / can look for me please let me know what holds it on:)

thats about normal for a 200rwkw gtst, a stock one isn't as bad....

Uneven wear in tyres can cause it to pull quite a bit - did it in my old car... my car pulled to one side, when i got new tyres it disapeared even without a wheel alignment...

or spare parts or damaged goods etc....
