  1. Date has been set. Morning session of November 17. Cost will be $85 with a maximum of 30 cars.

  3. Been thinking about that Caliper upgrade, you didn't spot which ones they are using ? And what wheel size. I heard some will fit inside the 16" RIMS which I use. Track Tyres are cheaper than on the 17".
  4. I had to get them as soon as I got the car as someone had done the grider lowering job on the standard springs.
  5. I have that article and he said no difference at all. Apparently just feels a bit smoother in the car but as far as handling goes no difference. I think the different software would probably give you the difference. I found a post on a UK Skyline site where the guy said he fitted an R34 ATTESSA and the car then handled like the R34.

  7. I have the 1inch lowered kings that they claim are 20% stiffer. I recently put the adjustable Koni's in, but the ride isn't too bad.
  8. Will probably work out to about $80 for the half day each. Maximum will be 30 cars on the day. So we will get heaps of laps each. I also have timing gear that gives laps to 1/100th of a second and a speed at one point on the track. I want to build a pool of about 40 drivers so that every 6 to 8 weeks we can book the track and we should have enough people available to make the day happen.

  10. Yea I have the same problem and with the Passenger side headlight. Flicking the switch usually brings it on. Will have to fix it properly one day.
  11. I have no BOV's on my R32 GTR. Both were blocked off three years ago.
  12. Running rich is black smoke, I thought white smoke was a blown turbo.

  16. I also agree, I think the extra boost I am running was negated by the over fueling. The dyno power curve is growing then it goes all lumpy and drops off etc. This happens about when the fuel ratio curve goes to over fuel. Once I get the fueling sorted I'm expecting to see a good power gain.
  17. I had that in my R32 about 2 years ago. I would hit a bump in the road and it would come good again. Problem went away after about 6 months. So it was either a lose wire or that blend door stuck I guess.

  20. Wet weather tyres will overheat the compound on a dry track not last very long.
  21. I have a similar setup and have about 260rwkw, running 18psi boost and stock computer. The thing overfuels like crazy though at high RPM. More power easily available with tuning. If you are getting ECU work done make sure it is tuned on a dyno and not just plug and pray.

  24. I was up there Sun afternoon and hardly saw another car. Was a great run. As for getting worried about any "recent" event up there, nothing changes. I know someone who services the mountain and they pull someone out of a ditch at least once every weekend. The mortality rate is high there.
  25. Do you know what size wheels they were running and which car the callipers were from. Straight bolt up sounds very tempting !
