  6. It is hard working out where some of these places are and if you were thinking of going over would be easier having the google link location so you can work out which train to catch and where to go. If you have the time would be great if you can add for the wider audience any further ones that come to mind. Would be good if a mod can edit my first post with the correct links??? Matt
  7. Alexi, When i looked at it on street view it has all the vertex signs out the front as well as Vertex Yokahama writing on the sign on the front of the building. If you have some good places post them up as is hard to work out where some of these shops are particularly when you don't know Japanese. Regards Matt

  9. Hi, It was not listed but some other parts i notice you have but are in the same boat - Gearbox?
  10. it seems to struggle with the difference between low light in the cabin and high levels of light outside, perhaps mounting higher up will also assist.
  11. the only reason it is shit pete is becasue they haven't spent any money on it in 10years, the last money they spent was the sheds on pit lane and it was only so they could continue to get he V8's. Shame it is going as is a really great track, i think the homebush event will be great especially with the transport side of things. Matt
  12. Wakefield Park - 1:06.5 Wakefield 2007 Club Track Day Oran GP Put some footage together thinking about how much i will miss this track Oran South Following R-Tune King Edward Park Hillclimb
  13. I didn't go with the leveling system and havent had an issue with tyre wear, completed a fair few klms towing since owning the trailer. Matt
  14. I am sorry but you are incorrect, it is illegal in NSW to tow anything that is heavier then the maxium rated towing capacity of the vechile that is towing. In my case it is 2100kg You will note that i mentioned i have the heavy duty tow pack which includes a higher rated tow ball and replacement suspension, this fixes the tyre wear issues as well as flattening the rear of the car so it does not sag and drag it's arse along the ground. I also have electric brakes which greatly asssits in stopping the vechile but not manditory until after the GVM exceeds 2000kg. One of the most popular vechiles for towing is actually the Falcon station wagon and favoured by a lot of oldies towing caravans which some of the bigger ones are heavier then what towing a light nissan is. The station wagon has a different suspension set up but runs with the ford 6cyl and gets very good (relative speaking) mileage. Matt
  15. I have a 2004 model VZ Commadore with a 2100kg Holden tow kit which replaces the rear struts with a gas tpe that can be pumped up to raise the rear of the car as well as a higher rated tow ball capacity. I get very good fuel enconmy when towing my car around 13ltrs/100klm and can tow at speeds of 120+klm/h if needed but usually sit at the speed limit. Going to the track i take my full tool kit, jack, spare oils, ratchet gear, spare parts, stands and luggage in the boot (sometimes some of the luggage is on the back seat). Trailer is over 500kg (says 500kg on the plate but i know it is over it) and car around 1200kg. Only issue i have is with the trailer being too low (put 100ml drop axles on it) and it can scrape going up driveways and the likes. This might be a good option perhaps? Key is the tow kit and electirc brakes, Matt
  16. One thing to think about with the poly is the heat from the exhaust and engine/drivetrain. You might have to use something else then the std plastic around these areas as most will melt at higher temp's. Spending some time making up a flat under tray on a saloon car in theory will give some benifit to downforce and also with the aid of a rear defuser will allow for better exist of the air from under the car. You should get less drag as well. You would want to incorperate a front spliter if you are going to the effort to channel the air under the car and generate downfore and make sure that the front is lower then the rear or possiabally face some lift as the tail catches the air. Matt
  17. when i did mine we took the subframe to Noltec, they burned out the bushes as trying to pull out the old ones is a pain. You use a blow torch and do it in an open area and try not to breath in the fumes. Then got made up new ones as they did not have the kits for my car yet and put them in, Matt
  18. ...must have got new sizes since i checked it out, they should update the web site with the correct sizes. Don't know if they now have a 265 or 255 18inch ?
  19. it looks like a semi ugly girl at the pub, once you start to undress her the boobs arn't half bad and the arse looks pretty good. Goes off in the sack after a few and lets you do all the things you want to do to her.
  20. Proper timing does not cost $5000, it is $500 or $400 for the day Prices vary depending on who is hiring and what permits and/or officials it is run under, Fatz used to pay more then initial drift used to pay.
  21. I passed you on the F3 heading up the hill near Wahroongah, at first thought it was a car that had an early exit on the practice day until i got closer.
  22. digging up an old thread but..... This weekend some of the Pro class were using the soft compound of this tyre and getting some good results, it is really only a sprint/hill climb tyre but speaking with the gordon levin team they are getting the medium compound stock in around a months time. Being a lot newer desigin the ADVAN A050 it will be interesting to see what peoples thoughts are once the medium compound becomes available, matt
  23. ....the downforce generated from the front lip ended up opening a vortex to another dimension.
  24. yes they are but knowing Jeff history my bet is he might charge.
