yea i saw the r31 gtsr manifold on a single turbo rb26 set up. was wondering how close the turbo would be to its original position. looked like you might be able to swing the compresser housing round and the dump would get close. were could ya find one? semi good news about the china mani's hey, they work but seems like ya end up spending extra on them patching them up. In the end it might be worth while getting a brand name. Im still not sure so ill wait and see the results, keep us posted guys!

didnt want to go external set up just got internal gate turbo and a new dump that bolts to the stock location. interesting design the pipes look like there angled at each other were they collect?

r31 power; cool let me know how it goes. might be ok because i think there trying to replica a hks. someone was telling me they have problems with them leeking and cracking when getting real hot. thanks for the pics. hi looking at upgrading my exhaust manifold and wanting some advise form people who have. ive upgraded the turbo to a 500ps unit and it sits on the standard mani with a custom twin dump/front pipe. So if anyone can tell me were to get a good manifold that locates back to the stock turbo position would be great. also the gains they have got from doing it . what is the most hp a stock manifold on a rb25 can support? cheers guys

stress; (noun) strong physical forces applied to an object. well cams arnt going to increase thermal stress and 250-260rwkw would be within factory spec rod's bearings etc so not too much mechanical stress, If you have time and money i wouldnt let stress stop me my 2 cents.

it would be easy to say there would be less stress on the engine when gaining power from cams then rasing boost as they both increase air flow but cams dont increase heat, like adding more boost. I think that hold's true because what i have read of SK's posts being able to run reliable 250kw with cams and stock injectors but going about making 250kw with a fuel reg and boost the pistons burn and die. So 200kw becomes the reliable power limit. SO GO THE CAMS!!!

hks twin dump great upgrade on stock turbo or any bolt on internal gate turbo upgrade.(eg hks2530) looking for $290 will ship if i have to but rather a perth buyer. reason for sale is im going a external gate set up.

ric777, were never going to agree but it is fun to debate. The thing is I DO think the minister got up one morning and saw the recent media hype of street racing as an avenue to gain popularity.I mean there are already trafic laws and fines and jail time. See i feel that there could have been a better option. That is providing the street racing population with better avanues then racing on a puplic street. If you have ever been to a proper orgainsed illegal street meet then you would see that these people are not the same as so call hoons. They will drive far out side of public areas as cearfully as posible as to not draw attention and then race on the flatest longest unpopulated road they can fined. I cant see that as being reckless. The example i can think of is with drugs. They are illegeal but you see such places that facilitate drug uses with shooting rooms. And such help avaliable on educating party type drug uses. Now this will not get you a seat in parlarment but it will save a sh#t load of lives. fact.

your right a am angry at your reaction. Throwing a peace of wood at a car is just as bad as what they were doing. You dont seem willing to acept any of the arguments against the law and just state the propogander some woman has been feed on how many people die from speeding. It is all too easy to come up with statiscs that would sudjest this law will fix things. Well i could make up alot of arguments and static's to give a differnt point of view but they wouldnt win me votes. ric777 are you 50 with a bad hip? you clearly act like one and have the mentality of a co#k smoker. You also seem to be a cop of your own world.

gap your plugs down to .8 or lower. the new plugs are firing better but in the 4000 up is were you will have full boost and they just cant cope. Had the same thing many a times with mates cars and mine, easy fix.

boost will be standard 7psi if you have the factory boost soliond as that is what it will work to do. if you just have a pipe from manifold to actulator you will get minimum mechanical boost. bleed valves and solinoids increase boost from that value.

if it dropes to zero could be boost cut from the stock ecu. I dont see why it would only make 4psi in first gear then 10psi in another. If you floor it to red line in first does it still only make 4psi.

hi if any one has upgraded plenum or some how has a spear one im after the idle control module that sits on the back of the stock plenum held on by 3 10mm bolts. i will buy it off you if in good working order. any help woud be great cheers.

after idel control modual , sit's on the back of a rb25det plenum held by 3 10mm bolts, will pay $40 must be in good working order. cheers.
