  2. would i be right in saying that it looks like the boost hits around 3000rpm to 3500rmp then full boost by 4000rpm were kw's, N get vertical, looks like it would pull real hard at low revs which is great concidering the size of 3040's. whats your comp ratio?
  3. i think with 2.2 or lower 60'' times you should be around mid 13's. let us know how ya go.
  4. LOL flames are sick :wassup: personaly i would buy a 3'' System and fit it myself. a 3'' pipe is a 3" pipe it doesnt matter what brand it is, just get good aluminum and somthing that looks good in the way of welds and bends, you'd pay harf as much and get good satisfaction. my 2 cents
  5. A non turbo would sound cr@p but turbos sound mint, better flow for free a cant see a loss :aroused:
  6. my best TS is 108mph but that was a 13.6, other factors come into play with TS. yes all dynos are going to read differnt and they are only tools its all been said befor. but who's to say my reading was true and yours were low or the other way round. cars can also be tuned differnt, you may have more bottom end or midrange than i have peak. what ET did you get? maybe your getting better performance with a lower peak out put.
  7. sorry cant help but i would suggest emailing or calling the company that supply the flywheel when ordering. Have you found any prices for the r33? i have a feeling that the r33 and 34 box are the same its just the engine that changed slightly. post up when you find out if they are, could be usefull info in future as there are more and more 34's getting around oz. sorry i couldnt help more.
  8. sorry i was'nt telling you it was external i was just asking because when i was waiting for mine he told me he was developing a adaptor to convert to fit to standard dump set up. as you had got yours a few mounths be for me thought they were originaly external set up. cheers didnt mean to be up front with asuming external, but it can still be a bolt on if its external gate.
  9. high flow cats are good not great there still not going to flow as well as no cat
  10. i gather yours is external gate, because had to make up custom plate to make internal on mine and i dont think he had that when you go yours?
  11. unbolt the cat at both ends should drop out. then looking inside and bash the mesh out !!

  13. a cat with the guts riped out is the go, get the cheapest one and do that. then if ya get pulled over they can see it and you dont get done. if you get done for somthing ealse then put a cheap cat on to get over the pits as they mite tap to see if holow. very easy to change over, and their are very good gains to be had with a high flowing exhast. i dont want to be be a bad influance but this is what a large amount of people do
  14. with same mods as others eg exh, ecu, fmic, pod, stock turbo and engine i got 270hp or 201kw. with a 2.234 60' , 102.04mph i had an elapsed time of 13.571 id say i could have done better with a better clutch set up, but thats the same old story. id say that would be on par with rest of the state and maybe your problem is with gtst-vspec not WA. so what if he hasnt ran a et for your benefit, just somthing to consider. I hope im able to put a spin on things :headspin:

  16. it takes a long time but the longer you spend the better it gets. you got the idea of steping down the grade papper, i use wet an dry. apply small amount of water or petrol to sanding surface or papper now and then. you should be able to get a polish finish just with sand papper, then when you buff with polish until black clean off with a new buff (clean cloth or buffer with no polish on it) and it will come up like mirra

  18. Reason: the stock setup can still provide the goods and a good range of information, why not read it? a friend of mine has done the conversion and also got good results but their could be a chance it might not so could be a good idea to read the thread and get more info
  19. methonole would be better than water i would think, ive herd of good things from running a good set up. large boost realy low temps.
  20. hard to say, if its flowing at its limit then it prob would be a high chance of stuffing up but i dont think you could push it past its limit and kill it. if your not looking for power past its limit then i wouldnt worry about running it at its limit. but with a bad AR you'll kill your engine and the price of a gtr pump would be well worth it, pluss give a hp gain with tune.
  21. MRK25T: for tomie cams go to Hi octane racing web site they have a link to the tomie web page and deal them, prices on tomie site are in yen. Sweetr33: make sure you read the big thread on front facing plenums, theres very good reason to keep the stock one. you cant miss it on a seach
