not sure. why does the 25 have a gallery and the rb30 not.....?

is it true a rb30 gasket is exactly the same as a rb25?

I did once, got left off by axcident, not much happened , blow off was much louder, big whoosh. be carfull if you do because the return runs back in front of the turbo with nothing to stop crap getting in and hitting turbo wheel, say good bye if that happens. :Bang:

what coils work with multi spark for rb25's?? (when doing my conversion i just jumped head first, and went with what the work shop did.) i think back i could prob do it harf price to what i paid ,well live and learn, i do everything i can my self now. sorry just that i forgot i even had cdi!!!

any coments on, when a port is done do they cut back the split to the valves? or just make all holes bigger and do it even.

ok cool , i was thinking just a clean up and a polish. i can see were the gasket sits and there are marks (black) , ring around the the openings which i was thinking of cuting back as in let air and exhast gasses must be hitting. mite be important to match inlet but exhast and turbo manifold bigger you can get em the beter or what? i will be doing my self, but will take great care, not going to go nuts

yea i have autronic cdi. it boosts the coils in a way and gives a bigger spark at your plugs. I herd most people use when running larg boost to help spark. i was lucky to get mine second hand $750

hi, i hope someone can shed some light for me. 1. if i took my 25 head to be ported what would be done? 2.if i were to die grind the inlet bigger to the valves would i be increasing flow for better or worse. (like using to big intercooler pipes) 3.for each cyclinder there are two valves (as you know), the inlet splits into two, if if I were to grind the split down so it was one would that increase flow or would it create turbulance? Iv got a stockish looking vs commodore but have droped a rb25det in it. Done some mods and have beatten alot of trafic light heros , usely its " WHAT THE FU#K" vs clubsport: "whats in that" me: "I dont know its my mums car" works well when he was trying to impress the girls in the back. some guy in a car park: "whats in that " me: " 4 seats and a steering wheel" vy ss after he caught up: " ecotec my ass" "whats in that" after killing a vs ss with a only milk and jucie come in to liters, me: "harf a liter of milk 2 ltr's of Oj, " he smiled and i got the fealing he was going to take the sticker off. Man theres so many i have heaps of fun

yea 9 puck would be the go , there very streetable for a puck style clutch. you should find heaps of info on a search.

I would say no. (most things with polarity will be marked +,-) can you disconect the batary and meter (bell out) from one pin to ecu or batary

You Dont have to remove manifold or split it. you do have to remove cam gears to take cover off to reach bolt at front manifold side.

O! I nearly forgot theres a spring behind when the nut comes off so....

took mine off the other night. it was a bitch. turn anti clockwise had to use large (long) leaverage and grinped the cam with and adjustible. keep at it.

for wa ; headlight height not to be lower than 500mm from the ground to the lower edge of the illuminated area of the light, park and indicators to be 350mm minimum height; Ground clearance of vehicale must be not less than 100mm with the vehicle loaded or all seat positions occupied. which is crap because if you have a vehicle with IRS one person in the back would defalt the car with factory suspension.

i can data log on my autronic, its easy to use, tick what you want to log chose a color, f8 to start logging, f8 to stop then f10 gives the graph with a marker that you use to scroll along giving exact values in a column. very usefull tool hang on, is datalogit the same thing?

nar wouldnt give a crap if it was a stock cooler. Its a bar and plate 600, 300, 75. ill give water a go but bits are wedged in i think so i dont think they'll drain out.

short story: air filter has come lose while driving sucked in so gunk , smashed wheel blades that have made there way into intercooler and then engine. I have taken head off and am cleaning. now there is crap stuck in the cooler i can hear it ratle when i shake it. -tryed using a compreser to blow stuff out, did work a little. - pushing a welding rod though the fins, got a little more out, I can only reach the fins in line with the inlet. I was thinking most would be in that part anyway as the inlet is on the bottom of the end tanks. - options i have left; get some high presure flow bench to blow crap out, cut end tanks off and take somwhere to get cleaned,or just throw it in the bin like some peolpe have said. if this has happened to anyone what can you do. please help!
