  1. starting to get p*ssed off with all the little niggly bits, so I'm going to try and sort them out before I loos my sh*t: 1) redo my headlights 2) need to get the bonnet struts as the fibreglass bonnet is to flimsy to support by the stock arm and so the AXIS bonnet add on is starting to fall off. 3) this radio change over has been a massive PITA, hate the aftermarket A/C buttons, and seems as though I've blown part of the BCM that controls interior lights, tail lights and parker lights so now I need to replace the BCM which seems more or a PITA than it should be. 4) need to tidy up my gauges as it looks like sh*t so going to have to pull my finger out and make a fibreglass one!!! 5) should probably replace my drive belts and fuel filter I'm guessing they are well over due!!! 6) need to get this window washer bottle cos its a PITA having a dirty window all the time that I cant clean whilst I'm out once all this is done I might feel better cos atm I'm getting annoyed my cars turning to sh*t because of neglect!!! ah well that's my rant for the week!!!
  2. but all the speaker wiring is solid colours and I cbf pulling the doors apart to see what was what!!!
  3. DONT NOT GROUND THE RED/BLUE WIRE!!!! it is actually the cabin lights/parkers/tail lights!!! I think I've blown the BCM by doing so!!! FFS

  11. Finally got my go-pro footage from the SAU track day back on the 29th of Oct 2013 @ SMSP south circuit. here was my last run where I got a free run with no traffic and managed 3 awesome laps 2x 1:09's and a 1:10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcvL4eyt1qY best of the day was a 1:09.14 with consistent 1:09's all day long
  12. hhhmmm dunno, did you try throwing it ??? LOL
  13. have you tried to re-pair them again, have you got the correct password ?
  14. it didn't sit in that flush either but cant do much about it with the counter sunk screw's. I don't have a problem with soldering (I'm an electrician by trade) I'd rather know its right and have a good joint, not like these auto electricians who twist it together and tape it LOL here's a photo.......
  15. finally after getting the wrong coloured facia its all back together and I have a radio again!!! I've put up a thread with the wiring colour codes in case anyone else needs to replace theirs, cant seem to link if for some reason though..... Http://www.skylinesaustralia.com.forums/topic/437160-m35mradio-replacement-wiring-colour-codes/
  16. Hey Peeps Thought I would do a write up as it seems there isn't one anywhere else and the 350Z or G35/V35 isn't the same.......... these colour codes were taken from a double din radio - non bose type. 12V Constant - Yellow/Pink. 12V Switched (Ignition) - Light Green/Pink. Ground - Red/Blue. Head Light Signal / Dimmer - Green/White. Front Left Speaker: White & Black. (do not know polarity) Front Right Speaker: Red & Green. (do not know polarity) Rear Left Speaker: Yellow & Brown. (do not know polarity) Rear Right Speaker: Pink & Blue. (do not know polarity) There were 5 colours left over but I did not bother finding out what they were. Cheers, Theo.
  17. It's probly a it late now cos I'm about to do it now, but does anyone have a wiring diagram for the stock radio??
  18. "KiwiRS4T" watch out the heads of the bolts on the bonnet pins will rust out with rain, didn't have a problem washing my car but after it rained they left nice rust lines all down my bonnet
  19. Here are some photo's I took, feel free to tag yourself can't seem to link my photo's or page so look up "LambJammer Photography" on facebook.
  20. The Stagea's great!!! but there's a few things that really need to be done as precautionary measures for happy / no hassles motoring, best to do a little research on them. IE: dump pipe/turbo - there's a cat in the stock one that holds a lot of heat on the back of the turbo which has a ceramic exhaust wheel causing early failure also drilling out the oil feed drain is a good mod too. ( turbo has a life expectancy around the 100K km - some of which last longer, I've just hit 100k myself and it's still good and I've given mine a bit of a flogging on the track etc) also cooling mods to suit Australian conditions wouldn't go astray!!! then there's the usual wear and tear. But all in all I recommend them!!! also note: they're not easy to mod as the RB's due to the ECU (they have a VQ motor in them) but it was a great day out, enjoyed the drive and got a lot of interest/complements on the car which was great!!! most car meets/cruises I go on people ignore it HAHA Cheers, Theo.
  21. I'll be there, hoping to get to the 1st meet point, car's all clean and ready to go!!!
  22. My CD Player/ Stacker decided to munch all my CD's so I just ordered a V35 Facia and now on the hunt for a new double din radio. Got a mate selling a Kenwood DDX4031 cheep so I might just buy that!!!
  23. why would you keep the stock twin turbo's on a 20B ??? single FTW
