Hey Merli, that's not my door it's just an example but I see what you mean. My door hasn't been swiss cheesed like that, but I'm probably better off just going the door cards, or keeping my stock trims. I think the aluminum sheet covered in thin carpet is the best option, the example on the Donut king GT-R turned out very neat, and the one posted by Stuart is very neat also. It's only used for club sprints, but someone mentioned that there may be an issue to to being able to injure yourself on it in an accident. Just wanted to be sure as I need to get the cage made around my standard trims, or whether I can get them running closer to the doors without trim.

I met up with a guy from Ausrotary, who showed me through his, basically to see if I could fit into it (I'm 6'4). Also had a chance to pour over Glen Ridges car, and I also was speaking with another guy in NSW who had an SP who put it up for sale, well over what you've mentioned. 55k is very reasonable I think. But, as you've said, I think if you were to actually use the car as intended you'd be better off buying a normal FD and modifying it.
