That is pure car pornography! Well, cage is booked for 3 weeks away, so I've got a bit of time to get off my arse and knock something up. If only I wasn't useless with my hands! -
Spotted a new M3 this morning as well in black. I prefer the white

Question In Regards To Door Trims
phunky_monkey replied to phunky_monkey's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Hey Merli, that's not my door it's just an example but I see what you mean. My door hasn't been swiss cheesed like that, but I'm probably better off just going the door cards, or keeping my stock trims. I think the aluminum sheet covered in thin carpet is the best option, the example on the Donut king GT-R turned out very neat, and the one posted by Stuart is very neat also. Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated -
Question In Regards To Door Trims
phunky_monkey replied to phunky_monkey's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
It's only used for club sprints, but someone mentioned that there may be an issue to to being able to injure yourself on it in an accident. Just wanted to be sure as I need to get the cage made around my standard trims, or whether I can get them running closer to the doors without trim. -

Awesome stuff mate, need to see some more RX's running about out there. I agree with you on the SP investment front. I met up with a guy from Ausrotary, who showed me through his, basically to see if I could fit into it (I'm 6'4). Also had a chance to pour over Glen Ridges car, and I also was speaking with another guy in NSW who had an SP who put it up for sale, well over what you've mentioned. 55k is very reasonable I think. But, as you've said, I think if you were to actually use the car as intended you'd be better off buying a normal FD and modifying it. It was from NSW man, but not sure what the rego was. But yeah, it's frucken awesome!

Hey guys, just wanted confirmation on something. I've been told that to pass scrutineering I have to run some sort of door trim, it can't just be bare like the picture attached. Is that right, or can I run without them? Cheers Dane

Looking good Stuart. That's a nice diffuser! What's this car going to be used for? Out of curiosity, what were they asking for the SP when you found one? -
Hey man, no need to rag on the Nissans, we are on a Nissan site

Awesome, awesome car! Troy, is that Exige based on the same class rules as the yellow Exige in the GT championship here that Bargwanna drives? I was watching the Clipsal 500 round of the championship last night, and the Lotus was killing it! Nobody, apart from the F430 of Allan Simonsen were even close. Amazing car. -
Tell me about is Alan, what sort of idiots do that! I have no problems with trucks, unless they're sitting 3 lanes wide down Westall Rd. Have some consideration, you don't own the road...

Interesting shot... a spanking Maser outside St Vinnies...
