  1. Might be worth having a read of this before you spend your hard earned. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/421392-dont-be-fooled-into-buying-cheap-coil-packs/
  2. Im having exactly the same problem, .2 closed anything above is open. Ordered a new TPS but that didnt look like it was your problem hardsteppa? I've tried unplugging but that didnt do the trick, see what the new one does i guess.
  3. Nissan genuine parts FTW, and they are a SAU trader They last the first 100k with no major dramas that ive seen.
  4. Your not too sure about genuine nissan pulleys/belts etc??? read your own post do i need to quote you again?
  5. Got my Woosh back The filler cap looked like the culprit
  6. Thanks Jiffo, yes it does start on the first crank so maybe not a problem after all. I have resealed the filler neck and will replace the cap anyway though. I might put the carbon canister back together then for breathing purposes, my only concern was the line that ran down the passenger side just stopped around the cat area with an open pipe. I cant seem to find if it should be left open, i had a look around and cant find anywhere to connect it to. Quick question: before it was imported, was there a carbon canister on there from the factory? I cant find much info at all on them.
  7. Did you use the negative (gray) from the wiring loom as well or just the 12v blue? Cheers
  8. Ok, confirmed the hoses are attached the right way around. This problem came up before i'd pulled the filter out anyway, seems to run ok.
  9. HA that's the first thing i checked on google images, surely everybody cant be wrong MAD082, i was just reading about sealing the filler neck in the FAQ and i'll go and look for a new fuel cap, cheers. Is the fuel regulator the one on the end of the injector rail? Got a feeling it is but whats the one attached to the body under the master cylinder?? another regulator?? The R33 manual is 3 books of not much help at all.
  10. Hey guys, just changed my fuel filter and forgot to remove the fuse and crank the engine to relieve pressure. Didn't matter anyway as there was only a tiny amount came out of the fuel hose when i removed it to get to the filter, last time i did it there was a fair bit of pressure there still. Iv'e looked around and cant find why, i also don't have the "whoosh" sound when i open the fuel cap if that's any indication. Walbro gss-342 555nismo injectors New fuel filter I have deleted the carbon cannister, blocked off the hard line on the drivers side and removed the one on the passenger side (it just stopped near the cat with an open end anyway) I dont know much about fuel pressure regulators or anything else attached to the system or how to check it. Theres no leaks and no strong smell of fuel, has anybody got any ideas or tests i could do. Search wasnt helpful at all, nothing came up for any fuel related queries. Cheers
  11. http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/cometic-exhaust-manifold-gasket-cometic-multilayered-steel-nissan-skyline-r32-r33-r34-rb20de-rb20det-rb25de-rb25det-p-920.html Thats what i used, didn't shop around because im getting a deep seated hatred of e-bay's bargains Yep it's cometic
  12. Posted in the National section because i thought this was closed As title suggests, if ya have one lying around then PM me.
  13. Yep, will do. I changed the fuel pump strainer and the old one was filthy but no change. Im also on the market for a new set of injectors, these cheap high flows were a bad decision i think. Just looking at sard 550's and they come in one or two hole, both for r33. I'm assuming that that's phase 1 and 2? I'm trying to google a bit of info on them, if anybody knows anything about which would be better or some general info. That would be great
  14. It seems to do it between 60-100 kph, that's all ive noticed. Guess im accelerating up to those speeds before then. I'm due to go back to the tuners next month now anyway, i'll check the resistance on the injectors and try and troubleshoot anything else while im at it. I was leaning towards the fuel pump strainer before i saw the code 51 but like Jez said, it would probably do it the whole time if it was blocked.
  15. Just checked Nistune (which i should have done in the first place) and i have a code 51 injector circuit error. Anybody have any ideas? Cheers
  16. Hey mate, sorry I didn't mention but I did try disconnecting the oxygen sensor and it made no difference. The stuttering is only light, it doesn't feel like it's cutting out and it doesn't throw you around the car if you know what I mean.
  17. Hi guys, have a new problem. As the title suggests, i get a stutter while cruising. It boosts and idles ok but i cant seem to find the problem. It did happen about six months ago, i thought it was the fuel pump dying so i swapped it out and all was good until now. ecr33 Nistune Hypergear ss1pu 3inch exhaust 100 cell cat 660cc high flowed jecs yellow jacket coils Old fuel pump was walbro 341? new is walbro f9000267 400lph with the 12v mod Things ive checked so far AFM (z32) changed spark plugs changed fuel filter vacuum leaks The only thing that i haven't changed is the fuel pump sock/strainer, this is still the original Nissan one. Has anybody heard of/had this problem? I'm leaning towards the fuel pump sock being dirty but i'm not 100%. Just wanted some ideas of things to check before i stick my arm in fuel again Any ideas? I tried google and i only come up with 4-5k rpm stuttering issues, cant find anything too close to my problem unless i'm typing it in wrong. Cheers
  18. Good start here to have a look at what other people are running http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/93880-rb26-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/
