  2. Well now i know that im thinking that it could be a gtr fuel pump.i wont know till i have a look....its been making that noise since i can remember...sweet if it is..
  3. Hi,i was just wondering is the stock R33GTS-T fuel pump meant to make a humming sound or would that push you more towards it being a different pump than standard?
  4. I have time seen as my car is off the road....are MFX making a full bodyit to suit??at the moment i am only interested in the front bar.....

  6. thats ok there will allways be next time...will post the pics as soon as my computer will accept the images that im trying to send it....i will say hello next time when there is another day that i can make..yea it was a good day cant wait for another like it in nsw going for a drive without a licence is a bit hard.it was the first drift day that ive been to.it seems like there needs to be a track with no barriers in order to make the full drift.it just becomes to dangerous for car and driver to make faster entrys otherwise the tight track seems good enough to drift on.....hi

  8. hey this might sound stupid but apply the acetone and keep reapplying it 4 howeva long it take the knob 2 come off off.

Dude if its not a heater hose running allong the fire wall it could be that your inlet manifold gasket needs to be replaced.I had this exact same problem with my R33 GTS-T i couldnt tell where it was coming from untill i stuck a torch and an extendable mirror down there.It was the coolent chamber closest to the fire wall the rubber on the gasket had worn away down to metal and was leaking water.I didnt rule out the fact that it could have been a coolent hose running to the inlet manifold to the turbo allong the rear of the engine that and the heater hose beacause it seemed the most viable untill i could get a a closer look with a mirror........ From looking at this picture it looks like all you have to do is remove throttle cable disconnect fuel lines from fuel rail drain coolant remove top heater hose unplug any hoses and cable blocks (inc injector harness) that are connecting to the plenum .give yourself some room. remove the fuel rail with injectors after this you should in my theory be able to undo the plenum from the side of the block if there are any hoses connecting underneath the plenum then you can give yo self more space by pulling the plenum off and lifting it unitill you can get enough room to disconect them.............Theres a few things that you need to keep in mind when doing this and they are document as needed your prgress i.e.where things go(pictures help allot).dont overtighten nuts & bolts,check to see if any hoses need replacing there cheep as shit and will save you if you can get your hands on a tourqe wrench and torque tightening specs(i know for a fact there is an r32 GTR workshop manual floating arround on here).theres a few others you can do if they need to be done belt,water pump etc....All my work was done in my garage at home by myself no hoist no removing starter motor and with a basic tool set.GOOD LUCK.I hope that i was of some assistance to you.
  10. I dont think you can deactivate the light with the toemi II kit.I got mine professionally installed and they couldnt turn it off.
  11. Drive in a higher gear than normal you will be going slower than normal not gaining speed as fast as you normally would in a lower gear keep your foot planted enough to keeep you going change gears and you will get the ''chop chop'' flutter sound.
  12. Has there been any threads on this conversion?I know its been done a million times before a how to guide would be great.And a quick question would you ditch the 4wd gearbox in favor for the stock r33 box and would it be a straight bolt up conversion??

Their exhausts are supposed to be shit.Thats what some of the mrt forum boys are saying.But im not saying that these intercoolers are in the same boat,the intercoolers seem to be good and for their price would be an excellent upgrade for anyone i personally think their over exaduration and not enough information is what is lacking in both these forum threads.
  14. Your probably right you know.....they look exactly the same in all of the pic of the ones with the hybrid and without the hybrid stamp.The core looks the same someone said the end tanks are different but i dont know about that and they carry all the same core dimensions.

  16. All high octanes i recon bp or caltex has the best followed by shell and if im desper8 and theres nothing else and im runninn on empty then its down to the premium. :wavey: someone should start a poll of fuels we use....
  17. Now look this is how it goes.When i was looking arround for computers to buy for my 33 croyden were supposed to have the most up to date versions of pfc laptop tuning capabilities of any shop in the country...
  18. Yeah cause at the moment its grabbing down low at a nice point but as it wears i expect it to grab a bit higher....And i was looking at the adjustment and if it had any for this reason..
  19. Just a question.If you fit the intercooler first will the pipes all line up with the new turbo?
