  1. yeah! dotars kindly told me i need a C3
  2. thats sad. i sinceerly hope u get it back.
  3. i will ask them no harm done there. if they need a C3 i import through someone who has a C3 and take it off their hands after it arrives in australia, and goes thru its stuff. obviously it would have to be retransfered into my name.
  4. yeah, 185rwkw were frying worn 205's @ 30% tread. they only lasted a few laps out. i was munjying the whole straight at eastern creek where DA starts their runs for the EC round. it was when i steped back up to brand new 225's that i had the issues. . ive driven worn 225's before and they were just fine.
  5. jspec. i threw cams a question regarding C3 cams license's and drift car importaton. and they said that if the car is being used for drifting then the importers are wrong. he said that L2S license's are all thats required to import a drift car. because drifters are competing under the L2S license. how true is this statement. i will pm u just incase u dont read this.
  6. well i do understand ur reasoning behind the weight transfer. to an extent ur tyres play a big part in how long the transfer will last untill u regain controll. brand new tyres are great. but they tend to get you right on the limit and give u confidence when ur hanging right out sideways. be ready when they let go though. and try to run the same diameter tyre. as i found out last fri at powercruise. i had brand new tyres on. my handbrake stuck on a few notches (forgot to tape up the button) and with the brand new tyres, gving me confidence in going faster, and lack of power to spin 3rd + the hand brake on, not helping things at all, i managed to find a plastic barrier. i think that while u are still only a learner, as i am myself, try to stick to a smaller width tyre 235Front 225Rrear. and try to run the same diameter tyre that will give you enough grip. what are your munji entry speeds going into high speed corners?
  7. r u using a 2way LSD. that will put u well onto the track for linking the corners. things u need r: lsd coilovers strutbraces caster front camber extra tie rod lock (for more angle) boost controller fmic
  8. the parcel shelf way is the easiest. dont buy a hard drive or a dvd camera. they are seceptable to skipping. buy a mini dv in 3ccd if u can gives a better qualtiy shot when used in conjunction with a proper 3ccd tape. as long as it's mini dv i say. im using a panasonic mini dv 3ccd gs230 and the footage is pretty good. ebay have them much cheaper than the good guys. buy urself an extra battery or 2. 2300mah, i think, is the biggest rated battery u can get for this camera from ebay as well. the stock one is poxy. with the stock battery and a 2300mah. u can nab 2 and a bit hrs of footage.
  9. those cameras are worth a pretty penny. as where i work has found out. 12-15K per camera depending.
  10. all i can say is it's going to be wet as bollocks
  11. i ended up with some proxes 4 as the price i was offered couldnt be let down. i was getting t1r's untill they told me i had to wait a few weeks for them. i probably would have waited but i needed the tyres by this thurs. the stooges that put them on had put them on their wrong sides. so my first impressions of this tyre were that they were pretty crap. when i got home i noticed what they had done and turned them arround. they were instantly better. they are an extreemly quiet and smooth road tyre.
  12. it doesnt foul on anything. as far as i can remember, and i do remember the angle it was sittiing at was a bit disturbing, it was installed a long time ago, it was giving me shit trying to get it any harder than that setting. but i have never tried installing it with all 4 wheels off the ground. still i dont see what difference it will make by doing that. to me, driving the car up onto ramps sounds like it could work.
  13. i found out that mazda astina 323 rims will fit on the rear. they should also fit on the front with a spacer added.
  14. i will b there in spirit. but out doing some dori. go hrd kids
  15. cheers fellas. when im down south i will give it a go.
  16. id say its the clutch or a glitch. ive driven the maiden model 6.0lss and the traction symbol comes on on takeoff and im not even trying to launch it <.< as said u cant be having traction isues in 4th with 280rwhp.
  17. they are the shizz. im looking at getting into some toyo T1r's myself. the same profile as yours $250ea thats a good price considering the reveiws i have heard about them. though their tyre life like the bridgy's aint that crash hot.
  18. lol. good day for a look c?
  19. any1 who makes the cover of any mag deserves a thumbs up!
  20. im using TPG atm. ADSL 2+ 50 gig. 30gig on peak 20gig off peak. $59.00 it's true there has been times when i couldnt access the net for no apparent reason but those times only lasted 10-20 mins at most. but i couldnt go past the size of the acc + price on offer. I have been told that they are being bought out cant remember by who though. though i do remember that this company willl allow them to have far less of a chance at having down time. so i have heard!
  21. ya, if a few hundred isnt an issue. go for it! though i think there are a few drift cars in australia using the D-Project stuff with no problems! they look to be well constructed.
