If anyone is interested, wired in a converter, took 12v from elsewhere, converted if down to about 6v, then hooked it into the plug next to the fuse box Steering is now amazing all of the time

I think you can remove the solenoid from the ps rack all together and it fixes it. But I'm not sure about it all really yet to go fiddling with it all

I'm going to try it tomorrow but that note does concern me too Makes no sense. Surely it can be bypassed Driftings gonna suck if I can't get it done in time

Want to know how I can bypass the heavy steering in my r32 has anyone done this by simply wiring in 12v to the plug in the rack? My speedo cable isn't attached so Its normal steering until about 2 mins into the drive it goes heavy And no I can't just re attach the cable as I have a 25 box and am waiting on a conversion part to come in and I want no heavy steering for matsuri in 2 weeks. I've been searching and the most I've found is that someone said it can be done by some wiring. Any other ways to bypass it without removing the solenoid and blanking it off completely? Thanks guys

Yes it's been askd before and I've researched however id like to know some more things that I can't seem to find Using this photo here (sorry cant attach photos) I've deleted the stock oil water cooler using a rb20 filter block, and I have no heater, what I'd like to know is if the turbo line coming round the back of the motor is the return, and if so can I plumb it straight into the block fitting ? The one that has orange gasket goo on it? Where does that hole go to? Back to the top radiator hose? I want to delete that whole steel line , but if its a feed line, and it feeds the turbo , then I can't. And then I wanted to block off that push in fitting on the thermostat housing completely Can't seem to figure it all out Surely it's a feed because as soon as the thermostat opens that steel line will flow with coolant feeding the Heater/oil cooler/ and out the Heater and to the turbo? Which means its the feed ? heres my silver r33 that i will be doing matsuri in this saturday sort of threw it together with a bunch of spare parts i had from previous cars. s2, 110000k's front coilovers steering spacers hicas lock tight diff 32 gtr wheels atomic coil packs straight pipes turbosmart boost T FMIC rear camber arms and heres what im working on in my spare time plans are to transfer the running gear over from the silver r33 to the white r33 soon plans for the white r33 apart from the usual order wheels full s2 kit s2 dash hydro behind dash, and ill make a lever to suite gauges switch panel bolt in cage (currently making) solid rear (bushes, cradle braces) forward plenum and PBM style intercooler seat, steering wheel and the usual stuff, adjustable castor ,camber, , diff etc currently stripped the interior, dry ice, bit of re wiring. cleaning. dropped the whole front end to clean and check over it all, cut rad support off and made some brackets for easy engine install and removal thanks

entered matsuri, bought a new velo helmet change of plans r32 got parted out and a mate is going to put a 25 in it and track it. spent a bit of time getting the r33 ready for matsuri had to make an exhaust for it, so threw on the front/dump/cat from the r32 extended and made a cat back work that i had threw on the fmic from the 32 , and the gtr wheels, catch can (ignore the 10000meter line) , new plugs, fuel filter etc. sourced a passenger headlight and made it fit somehow (passenger tub has been caved in) sourced a s2 front lip aswell, just trying to find a s2 bar and grill. plans are to re shell it after matsuri as like i said passenger tub is caved in, and something funky is going on in the rear subframe, one wheel sticks out the guard/skirts by like 50mm, and the other wheel sits in about 30mm. so 80mm or so difference, and one side has toe in while the other is straight, probably all from the crash its had. will straighten it before matsuri then find a new shell hopefully registered one.

replaced clutc and all that brand new 6 puk brass button feels great to drive now i have a problem of absolutely no power throughout the whole rev range, have been trying to diagnose it for like 2 weeks now . it boosts and flutters but no power, feels like the clutch is slipping the whole time which is impossible. and seeing as matsuri entries just opened, i went and bought a missile as back up, incase the r32 doesnt make it when its surplus to requirements ill part it out

After a passenger r33 s2 headlight prefer broken/haggard , cheap as, as long as headlight works R33 front bar cheap / broken etc prefer m spec BN , s2 etc

Bypassed knock sensors with resisters and ran th same Took off fuel filter as I replaced that at the same time too, and thought it could be restricting it Still the same Checking fuel pump next
