  1. What's your decision on final gear, mate? You leaving it stock or changing it?
  2. ^^ HAHA. I think all us GTT owners have subscribed to this thread. Is there a way to have the GTR driveline convert into AWD as opposed to 4WD? It's a lot of monies to do this conversion but I prefer a continuous AWD GTT as opposed to a 4WD convert.
  3. Paul, Did you end up getting the PWR radiator? I want to upgrade my GodSpeed radiator on my GTT to PWR cross flow. I heard that they offer the best surface area for cooling.
  4. ok, mate, I fixed the problem a couple of days ago. I made a wiring harness for my MFD: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/221016-r34-gtr-mfd-in-gtt/page__view__findpost__p__6165983 and stuffed everything behind the combination meter. Some of the wires had broken off the harness per all the pressure behind the combination cluster. I rewired everything and put all the harness ending behind the radio, underneath the MFD. Everything is working perfect now: RPM on my Nismo cluster and my Apexi... My MFD is even reading injector which it wasn't before when I initially installed it. I just hate seeing that Oil Temp gauge now working. I can't wait to until the Nismo upgrade.
  5. I have a brand new Nismo cluster installed about 2 weeks ago. I don't think it's the cluster but, yeah, I have the stock cluster that I can use. I wanted to move the wires around but I got lazy and just left them there. LOL.
  6. I think that's the issue there, bud. I wired my MFD into the ECU. My ECU, AVC-R, and combination cluster are all connected together via a splice connector. I didn't have much space so I stuffed all my wires behind the cluster and screwed it back in place. Perhaps, there's a little bit too much pressure.
  7. LOL. Any clues on where I can check? I started with the ECU and everything is wired correctly.
  8. To make matters worse I had solid bushing in a lot of places! LOL. Here's a pic of my 'Zetto' cooling down. I've been talking back and forth with Gary (I forget his username) regarding ER34 coilovers. He's very detail oriented which I respect and enjoy.
  9. Yesterday, I took my GTT out for a spirited ride. The combination meter was working fine when I started the car but I hit a lot of bumps getting on the freeway. Now, my combination metter cluster doesn't read my RPMs and the needle stays at 0. Moreover, my Apexi AVC-R doesn't read RPM either (as well as it's stop reading injector strength). Ironically, when I hit bumps the tacho works for a couple of seconds then goes back to 0 when the road is straight. What's going on?
  10. Do you have any pix of your finished product? I'm thinking of doing something like this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=349111
  11. Do you know if any of the Z chasis or S chasis shroud will fit? I'm been going around FAST trying to find part numbers.
  12. Exactly what I was thinking but I wanted to confirm with ya'll first. Do you know (or anyone reading) know if the ER34 fan-shroud combo is compatible with another Nissan (i.e. R32 GTR, 300ZX, etc)? I'm asking so I can have more search options.
  13. uestion about Shrouds: Do I want a big shroud engulfing the radiator (such as stock) or is the shroud that comes with the thermo fan enough? (STOCK GTT) VS (I have something similar to this fan. Notice the shroud surrounding the fan)
  14. That's the shroud that covers the clutch fan, right? Do you know if it'll cover an after market rad?
  15. I was thinking of having the same exact configuration as you, bud. I decided to do the setup I previously posted about. If for some reason my tuner or my car tells me that the clutch fan is necessary again then I will do the 3 fan setup like you: 1 clutch fan and two pusher fans in the front. (fosters)
  16. HAHA, I still want this but my engine is already built. I would LOVE to have a strong short block but I dunno if I actually need it.
  17. ^^ My current setup is a puller fan cooling the engine (replaced the clutch fan). The shop the previous owner used wired the puller fan off the A/C -overheat - fan's rely in the fuse box and set it to turn on with the ignition. I only have 1 fan that works and its ALWAYS on. I will still have that same puller fan for my future setup but I will add some sort of shroud to it and direct it towards the engine. I'm planning on removing the condenser and installing a brand new pusher fan in place of the old A/C fan. That brand new pusher fan will be hugging the radiator and I want to control both fans via the temperature sensor and my Haltech ECU. I eventually plan on getting air panels attached on the sides of the radiator and intercooler to direct air towards the IC and radiator.
  18. I have an after market radiator. Not the best but it works. I'm also rocking the stock RB26 water pump. No issue as of yet with it. I don't I'm fine on the coolant side but I do need to improve my fan configuration.
  19. No, I do not. I haven't started purchasing anything ATM. I'm listening if you got info to pass regarding shrouds.
  20. Thanks, mate. My previous Tein Monoflex had 780lbs spring rates with 15 damping via the EDFC. I guess that's around 14kg according to this: http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-tires-wheels-brakes-suspension-sponsored-tire-rack/308025-spring-rate-conversions-kg-mm-lbs.html I had them on my 350z and loved them for the track but they annoyed the sh1t outa me when I had to drive more than 15 minutes on the road.
  21. That's 10kilograms, right? Any idea how much in lbs?
