  1. Yeah I know what you mean iv built this car on my own it's more satisfying but I'm running out of time I need it done I would of liked to use gtr injectors but wasn't sure how many kw they can handle so I just went the easy option that I know will work
  2. I think it's a great idea of using factory parts there is nothing better as they are made for the car Nissan spent tones of money to get it right but it is convenience that wins most of the time just because it's easy
  3. I just wanted the ease of dropping in and tuning and it worked out around the same price by the time injectors are cleaned and I buy all the required parts it's around 400. Just got to shop around and not but the first ones you see
  4. The passenger lock seemed to cause the problem so I removed the rod and it works now bit strange but it is a import
  5. Yeah I had a look around and I picked up sone denso Injectors for 450. I had the option of 600cc or 750cc as that's all they had in stock both come with low pulse width and are high impedance just need to replace plugs which one will be better iv put a deposit on a set but can easily change up for the same price would 750 be to big? I was told that there are very easy to tune to requirements plus leaves me with plenty of head room in the future especially if I want to upgrade engines I will be getting them on Tuesday so input would be very appreciated cheers
  6. Yeah I can see the door lock I pulled the door card off and had a look and everything looks connected all the rods move freely and look alright it's been like this since I bought the car but now with a DVD player and all new gauges it needs to be fixed. How hard is it to remove and replace the system
  7. hey everyone I have a 92 r32 gtst coupe and my passenger door won't lock properly. It phyiscly locks the door as in the the central locking works but you can still open it fron the outside how can I fix this
  8. How do you make the resistor what parts are needed
  9. Iv already spent 4 on turbo and the rest I just need injectors to suite as I'm putting a td06-20g turbo on with 17 psi through it and the stock injectors just can't hack that. I don't see the point in spending a g on injectors for a street car with the ocational 1/4 mile. I'll try and get onto the bloke that rebuilds the injectors that's for the help. I prob should of listed mods sorry about that
  10. Hey everyone I know this has been covered before I'm not asking if they fit I'm asking is there tuning issues because of the jet spray? Also what other high impedance injectors will fit? I'm on a budget and nit keen on spending a g on injectors also not to keen on cutting the loom to put a resistor in but if a have to I can Cheers in advance
  11. A second hand exhaust is the go I picked up a 3 inch apexi cat back (stainless) for 350 on my 32 search eBay sometime decent stuff pops up
  12. Sounds like it will be a good setup then only time will tell should be dynoed in a month or so if I crack 250 I'll be stoked. Should I run cam gears?
  13. I'm wanting whatever I get out of it hoping over 220 just want to make sure everything is good before I try
  14. Yeah my bad i will be running a nistune most likely
  15. hey everyone I'm wondering if my rb20 amf will be up to the task my mods are Td06h-20g turbo 8 cm housing Turbosmart external gate (17 psi) Stainless highmount 32gtr intercooler 550 denzo injectors 3 inch exhaust rsr K&n pod filter in box Will be getting a tune done just want to know what else I need before I get it done
  16. If I have problems with the wastegate I'll upgrade but for now it will do. I'm going to run the Haltech leaves me more options in the future also every one I know that has one has never had any problems and my tuner should have no problems tuning it. That's everyone
  17. Hey thanks for the replys I was just asking beacause I got offered a Haltech for a rb20 off a mate it's brand new was for a conversion but never used so for around 500 that's y I said price isn't a issue it has the igniters and it's a plug and play does that change any minds or should I say na and just go with the nistune
  18. Hey I was wondering what ecu would be better for my setup mods are Td06h-20g 8cm housing 550 injectors 3 inch exhaust 35 mm turbosmart external wastegate 17 psi Stainless high mount 32 gtr cooler I know nistune will be cheaper but lets put price aside on this one
  19. Sorry for not replying sooner been to busy trying to sort this car out so I'm back at turbo selection as the turbo blew up. Iv opted to go with a td06-20g with a 8 cm housing. So now I need bigger injectors a want ones that will just drop in no cutting wires and all that any suggestions? Also could I remove the fpr and return to stock? Just want to get rid of things if not needed. Will my gearbox hold up to 260kw without problems cheers guys
  20. Ok thanks for the Help mate I also did a serch on the td06l2-20g and it seems that the only difference is the turbine wheel is a few mm smaller but compressor is that same would the results be similar I'm guessing it wound run out of puff faster that's all
  21. That sounds good to me would it be better with the 10 or 8 cm housing
  22. I pulled the turbo off today and stripped it the wheel has caused exssive damage to the op6 housing gouges and dints everywhere there was a lot of burnt oil in there as well so I'm thinking a big chunk can through and that's what caused this problem as it was only on 8 psi. Can the rear housing be re machined and used as a high flow so I can sell it? Compressor wheel is fine. Iv also put in a injury for a td05H-16g6 with a 8 cm housing t3 flanged would this be a good option for both response and power?
  23. I was just thinking about leaving some more head room incase I get over the 250 mark. I don't want to have to buy a turbo again to make more power I would like to install cams and gears later down the track to get a bit more out. I have my waste gate set to 17 psi and was thinking with a td05 I would get good power still and not loose to much response I'm not worried about lag its a 20 need lag to get good power. Also the rb turbos don't seen to suite the highmount to well very close to engine because of the flange. I would rather just do it right the first time and have it done then all I need is boost. I'm no expert I'm a metal fabricator not a mechanic so what would be my best option if I wanted to push 240 and up and please don't say buy a rb25 because it's not a option
  24. I already have one welded up to suite wastegate I might check that out then sounds good I'm only chasing 220 to 240 kw anywhere close and I'll be happy. I might just take the manifold off to be safe. What about a gt30r heard these are good for a 20 or even a td05 or 6 I was leaning more towards that option Thanks for the help
  25. ok so I just finally got my car running sweet just got the new exhaust on and driving it home and the turbine wheel exploded. It's a rb25 turbo was ment to be high flowed not the case as it seems. My biggest worry now is it was high mounted could the bits of wheel go back into the block and cause damage? Also I'm now in need of a new turbo any suggestions and I want it to highmount as iv already got everything set up that way and yes I have read the rb20 forum but would still like suggestions/ advice. My mods are 3 inch exhaust 35 mm turbosmart external gate Stainless highmount 32 gtr cooler 2.5 inch piping Tommi fpr Walbro fuel pump New hd clutch And replaced every gasket on the motor and sensors Will be putting in 550 injectors And I'm getting a nistune once this is sorted Help would be very apriciated Thanks in advance
