What type of bender you getting
  2. Don't need kids to have a wingin missus haha I know
  3. If you look through roys build up the has the turbos side by side I'm sure the greedy version but they are very similar to the kandos you can see the size difference in the turbine wheel
  4. You can get them t3 I'm using one on a stock manifold turbo comes as a kit all lines come with it. Yes the dump needs changing and cooler pipe extended but that's nothing big. If your happy with the highflow then sweet I'm not saying they are bad I'm just stating for the money you pay for a highflow you can get a bigger turbo all together then add 200 for dump and cooler pipe.
  5. What do you suggest then I'm sick of shit lights need something good
  6. Yeah seems to be the case they don't focus properly

I agree but for things that won't need to work that hard like cooler piping and intakes it will be fine. for doing manifolds and plenums a hot nice weld is essential or it will crack distortion is the biggest problem leaning to controll that can be tricky
  8. Agreed
  9. Kando dynamics are good turbos and cheaper then high flows in some cases I have a td06 and would buy one over a high flow any day. Also if you shop around you can pick up second hand hks and Garret turbos that people used for a 1000k and wanted more power For under a 1000 bucks. Iv also heard high flows get hot really quick due to such big wheels in small housings a lot of resistance
  10. Properly a hole to let cold air to the pod has been cut
  11. There are plenty of good turbos for cheap on the market there days I wouldn't spend money on a high flow but if your on a budget they are very good value
  12. Ill try and get footage of my induction noise vs turbo noise. My theory may be wrong but the more flowing it can be the less noise there is because there is less friction
  13. I'm not saying there is no noise I'm saying it's a totally different with noise and how it sucks air. Some turbos spool totally different my td06 spools quite loudly with minimal intake noise. We are arguing over such a stupid thing all I'm stating is a na motor sucks air totally different to a turboed car and yes the compressor wheel makes noise as it is compressing air in the (compressor housing) and forcing air into the motor. If you have intake noise great I don't I just hear my turbo spooling end of argument you have induction noise I don't who gives a f**k really? The bloke was worried if this is something wrong and the answer is no his setup is fine can we agree on that atleast
  14. I also have a 3 inch alloy intake with a pod can hear it when bonnet is up and sitting right next to it but otherwise it's quite. Remember noise is caused by friction and vibration.
  15. The na motor sucks the air in and dosnt get compressed and you can hear it a lot more plus engine noise a turbo sucks air then compresses it hence forced induction its a totally different way of induction tell me how many turboed cars drive around having that na intake sound (really drowny) rather then ssshhhh (air compressing)
  16. I'll have a go at 6000 k. Never had any problems with the popo before with hid they normaly go straight to the bay and say is that stock and I keep my mouth shut. I think hid lights are the least of my worries
  17. Google will fix your problem fixes heaps of problems
  18. I hope not

use a eBay ac/dc welder I have one has never let me down they are good for the money but if you want to spend 4 g on one get a lincon they kick ass and have all the things you need. eBay ones do the job just as well iv had mine for 3 years now

Jpb welding at tumbi and do cash work up on the mountain for a mate as well. I used to contract to a place in wallsend but they went broke. So I just went back to wages less stress involved

I fuse as well but in his case to do a run over will make it nice and neat it is cheating but can save a ugly weld but after a while you can just tack 4 points and fuse right around looks wicked when you get it right. I tig almost everyday and when scratch tiging on site the run over can get out the lumps makes it easier to clean.
  22. It would allow for more power as it is less restrictive being bigger but saying that you will have more lag what engine is it going onto. Is it a r34 op6 turbo or a vg30 op6 turbo
  23. They are 55 they are hid 10000k should be just as bright as the BMW lights but there not. Even after cleaning the headlight no good I think I might remove them. Where can you buy r32 globes as they are hc3 or something. Or do I just go h1 globes and cut to suite
  24. How long did you run it for could be a build up of fuel in the cylinders correct me if I'm wrong. Ticking sound could be a small exhaust leak check to see if all the studs are still there and gaskets are in good condition
  25. Hid bulbs and ballasts. The bulb is a sealed unit runs off the ballast resistor
