  1. I couldn't use mine with a td06 and many others had the same issue guess it depends on the manifold
  2. When I was buying mine I spoke ro kando and he said that between the two the h is a better turbo for a 20 and the ls2 would only come on about 200 to 300 rpm quicker so I got the h all depends on your setup. I bought mine on sellers recomendation which he would know his product better then anyone. Mine is back on the dyno tonight I'll post results . Any bigger turbo in most cases on a 20 will not see full boost past 4 grand just can't flow enough below that to spool the turbo. Yours being a high comp motor will bring it on a bit quicker but can't handle high boost otherwise it will detonate.
  3. So I'm guessing it's going onto a 20 why you going the ls2 and not the h? I have the td06h-20g external gate and see full boost at 4500
  4. What turbo is it?
  5. Can't use the crossover if your using a top mount turbo
  6. Did you change your plugs bad plugs?
  7. You will foul the plugs very quick then you will need to change them to. Just get it towed if you have that option

I usually have them all seprate on diff hooks saves a world of trouble. I have a perfect example I was making a forward facing plenum for my 20 and I cut it out using a 1 mm disk acidently put one I used for steel then when I went to weld it had all sorts of trouble with inclusions had to back grind everything wasn't happy tho so I tossed it. Now all disks are kept separate and tidy. Also you may find it easier to weld alloy of you wipe it down with thinners, cleans the surface much better

Can't use a drop saw to cut donuts works on everything else but. A side note make sure you have a dedicated disk to stainless and alloy don't cut mild steel then cut alloy or stainless with the same disk it will contaminate the metal then rust or be a bitch to weld
  10. You want atleast 30 min of pre heat can you drill it on your lunch break
  11. + 1 for stock shield just paint it will look good. half the purpos of highflowing a turbo is for the stock look with power will also help keep the popo away. they wont see a aftermaket part and think what else does he have in his import
  12. yeah im not going anywhere near that i just want proper lights anyone want 10000k hid lights
  13. why not just use a gtr cooler they are cheap and also a great upgrade not hard to install either. paint it black and you will love it
  14. i no the feeling i got sacked from one job cos i found the guy that was stealing tools so i took all his and handed them out to the boys that had theres taken then he confrunted me so i knocked him fair is fair i think. do you have a welder at home if so then you can use your oven pre heat to 200 or so will work. as for the hole take it to a machiene shop and they can mill it shouldnt be expensive
  15. why mot just wait till you get your new toys and see if it still leaks if it does then get one done might save some money

Looks good mate but can I ask why didn't you buy the bends rather then making a lobster back. Would of saved tones of welding time

I usually use I angle grinder with a alloy cutting disk or just a 1 mm cutting disk then tig a bead on the end. It can be hard to cut straight but just takes practice can always grind it straight. A chain cuter would be the best I think only done it a few times but makes life so easy. I'll be doing my cooler piping properly soon using stainless because it's more available to me not worried about weight
  23. We have all done it

Sand is a pain in the ass you will never get a nice bend will still flatten out a little and you will struggle to get more then 35 degrees with out pipe damage. Buy round donuts can get any angle you want then or a proper bender one that rolles the pipe not crushes and hope it turns out for the best im not trying to be a rude basted I'm just telling you my experiences
