I have a IX and a X. The 9 is pretty much stock, it was my first car and I got it second hand it's got a few mods on it, just an exhaust and some intake mods, I didn't have much cash when I was starting out. Just keep in mind to service it regularly, otherwise you can loose power. As for the 10, I think I recall winning it. It sat around my garage for a while, didn't get to drive it much, but after about 6 months I decided to throw some cash at it. After about $100 000 I had myself a winning car, very very fast. They're great cars, I recommend you get one.

United has like 20 E85 locations in Vic and four in NSW. Does this just reflect that there are 5 times more United stores in Vic or that for some reason (govt) Vic are much more pro E85 than NSW or a combo of both.

Hmmm okay then: I charge $15/hour, google says 16 hours so that's: $240, I sleep on my own time. You pay fuel so, let's assume that it does 9L/100 k's. It's 1400 k's so thats about 125L of fuel at say $1.40/l, that's: $175 You pay to fly me back to Sydney, plus you have to drop me off at the airport, plane ticket, webjet says: $120 So that's $535. Better to just freight it down.

I went to get a defect cleared on my cousins Volvo last week, the rego lapsed and the lady said that when the rego lapses the defect clears. She said it in such a tone too, as if I was an idiot for not knowing. I had to spend 5 mins convincing her that the defect was still applicable. They are there for a reason. If a little road chip flies up and gets caught in there it may cause the belt to slip (anymore than 1 tooth either way and bye bye engine), most likely it will cause it to wear early. You should totally do it though.
