  1. my opinion always counts , besides what are you basing this whole no license thing on, transport havent told me I have no licence yet bahahahaha
  2. unf*ckin likely
  3. what exciting insurance do we receive on the day? I dont get insurance on the road, ill be extremely happy to receive it on the track. Note: I know its probably public liability or the likes of that
  4. full race spec? Personally I call "full" race spec nothing short of a stripped interior (and anything else that doesnt help the car go fast), full cage, and slick tyres etc...but I can appreciate you car if it is pushing in excess of 800hp as a track car. Specs on said car...as it's only fair to compare what two cars we're racing here.
  5. seen as "slide" is always talking up how good his driving is to me, he has volunteered to race me at QR....???
  6. Can someone confirm or deny this to a CERTAINTY because at willowbank (drag strip) many were sure you required a non suspended provisional drivers license to race but thats not the case as I raced there on l's way ago......im not having a go at you gordo I just want to know as on the day I will have a license however it will most likely be lacking points.....ie suspended. I doubt this should matter as having a license doesnt even matter for getting a cams license or andra license etc..if anyone knows, let me know.
  7. send me bank details via pm....I wont put the money in until closer to the event but I will put a reminder in for a few weeks before the day.

  12. works for me, should definately have the new car by then too..
  13. if i have my new car and depending on pricing for qr, ill go for a run on the track....my suspension setup is more "drag spec" than "corner spec" though.
  14. pending date and time im there....and smooth wat were you thinking, joshwa backing down from a race bahahaha

  17. I couldn't agree with this statement more. Make sure you ask around and dont take any one persons opinion for gospel. Most importantly investigate the workshops personally. Just because a workshop has been able to make some "big" power on "some" cars doesnt mean jack. You need to find a workshop you can trust with your car, that will work on your car properly, not cut corners and shoot straight with you about whats wrong. There is no point taking your car somewhere that you cant have a conversation with the mechanic about whats happening and what needs to be done. IMO this is one of the most essential things, if a workshop owner/mechanic/whoever is working on my car, isnt willing to talk to me about whats happening with my car then I dont give a sh*t how good he thinks he is, he's wasting his time being in business....at the end of the day they are just selling a service like anyone else, dont be treated like a tool because they think they are top sh*t.....because there is plenty of other places you can take your car that are usually just as good, if not better, that will be more than willing to take on your business. And yes I am speaking from experience.
  18. i've been ha>
  19. :werd: still someone post pics of it on an r33 I wanna see what it looks like as I havent been to autorice lately!
  20. rigghht....2nd post too, way to make a good name, start talking it up.
  21. The courts are one place that detest opening themselves up to the "floodgate" effect and whilst it may sound heroic to place ppl on trial for having a bullbar im afraid it just wont happen. If someone were to be sucessful in a case like the ones mentioned above just imagine the implications it would bring. HOW could u prove that person has never been off road??? HOW many times do they have to go off road? Is once enough, twice, twenty times? What about ppl with rollcages in their cars or strengthened chassis, should they be charged because their car didnt crumple enough to let the other person "live" and another question..How do you actually acertain that the bullbar was the cause of death or even a contributing factor?...I mean honestly the list could go on forever, the simple fact is that the only way is to make the problem slow or stop is to enhance the view that it's publicly disliked. Regardless of this, I agree with most of what has been said in this thread about 4wd's and their drivers and I can relate to much of it. However legally I just don't see it going very far.
  22. wouldnt mind actually seeing what they look like on a 33.....there doesnt seem to be that many pics of anything other than ricer cars.
  23. gavin might be ok, but i dunno about the rest being "up to 5hit." There are a few other places that are as good in my books.
