Well if I am at Ben's one day when it is going maybe I could get a ride. 400rwkw in that format with twins etc will be very impressive. Will have to put it on a track beside a certain white 33. If u need a steerer I will offer my services. Generous I know. Amosite, I agree u cannot compare Power FC to a Motec. The drivability of motec cannot be beat. Mick.

Went in a 33 GTR just a few weeks ago with 2530 on it and 350rwkw with great driveability etc. Spooled up early and pull right through to 8500. For me if I was putting 2530 on I would also put motec on it as this will improve drivability, smoothness etc. Also I would mod the transfer case to make the front hook up faster and thus reduce oversteer. Just what I would do. Mick.

May I ask why you compression locked the car aproaching a set of lights? What did u do throw it back to first on approach? Or do you mean that u locked the brakes apon aproach? Just curious. Warpspeed, Oh dont worry it is illegal put other in danger for the sake of a dog. That won't save u. Mick.

Intersections already have the lines cut into the surface for the weights to sense traffic. Mick.

I had the pleasure of having dinner with Howard a few years back. He was a great guy who achieved much in motor sport and his influence on the Bathurst Winning GTR's as well as the current ford and the GTHO's of the past cannot be underestimated. He was a real gentlemen who had a great love and knowledge for his craft and achieved more doing it than most. His loss will be sorly felt in the motor sport community. RIP.

THe Victorian speed camera (fixed speed cameras) are amphometer based. They all have three lines cut into the roads as described. Drive down the Western Ring road and you will clearly see the lines. Sydney Kid I am very interested in your finding etc and would like to get hold of more info as it becomes available. Who has commissioned this work and for what purposes? WIll your finding be freely available? Can you tell us if when the tyre pressure was high was the finding higher or lower? Was the differecen in the size ofthe tyre at these various pressures taken into account of calculating the speed? How was the offical speed measured? Like I said I am very interested in this and look forward in reading more. Mick.

I am wanting to buy the fron air duct for an R32 GTR air bix. The ducy runs from the frontof the car where the air is drawn in from too the front of the air box. It is Traingular on one side and rectangular on the other. Mick.

I doubt that the box needs to be rebuilt. Sounds like the front sprocket on the reverse gear is not holding the gear in place. They may be able to simply replace it without doing much else to the box. Mick.

I play all games on PC, but I have a HyperSimulator for driver games and only like simulator games such as GP4 and Grand Prix Legends. Mick.

Certain;y is a strange one. I think that u are going to have your work cut out for you on this one. It sounds to me that for some reason the computer is shuting it all down (as when you restart it takes off. If it was fuel it would die under hard throttle (usually) and for it to come so intermintantly soulds like somthing changes and the computer sensors it. Have youput it on a Dyno to see what air/fuel mix it is running? May be worth a look, at least it will clarify that for you. It does not sound like a simple loose conection as why does it alter when the car is turned off? I doubt the conectipn just fixes itself. I'd say that the comp is backing everything else off. Mick.

I too was very sad to hear of Howards passing. I had the pleasure of having dinner with him one night a few years back. It was extremely interesting to talk too and always happy to have a yack with fans of is work. Cars like our GTR and Falcon GTHO and even the current Au falcon have a lot to thank Howard for. A truly nice guy who will be missed in all motor sport circles. Mick
