Thanks, I considered that but the NEO head on the 25 block will be a temporary thing as I would like to build a 30 bottom end and squeeze a fair bit out of it. Obviously the 3076 would have to go but the plan is to put money only into the top end at this stage so I can swap everything onto the new block and add bigger turbo. I'd like to have the ECU side of things sorted prior as well if possible...

I've already posted this in the drive line forum but thought I'd ask here as well for more exposure and hopefully some info from the gurus. Hopefully others, particularly those with facory manual Stageas find it helpful/interesting as well: Done lots of research and found lots of conflicting info and most of it fairly old so thought I'd ask specifically what I'm after. I have a RS4S Stagea (factory manual, NEO engine) and am after a good ECU to enable tuning with the parts I've collected (highmount 3076, GTR cooler, FFP etc). What I need to know is does the ATTESA (I believe RS4S is the same as R33 GTR) system use information from the engine ECU or is it totally independant using G sensors and wheel speed only? An aftermarket ECU to suit a NEO may not have ATTESA outputs and a GTR ECU would have ATTESA but not VCT function (plus wanting 2 AFM inputs). Was wanting an easy plug in ECU but it's looking like it may not be that easy.... I was thinking that the ATTESA module may use a TPS signal....

So it doesn't use a throttle position signal at all? I wondering what might happen say negotiating a hard corner while under brakes, although there is no power being delivered to the transmission the G sensors will still activate the clutch pack in the transfer case?

Good idea Dale. Unfortunately I see another yet another SAU members car has been stolen recently, I'll certainly be getting one myself. I like the idea of potentially being able to find my car and perhaps the person/s responsible - to report to police of course. I'll hold off for a while incase Pete decides to have another shot in the GB section although one could hardly blame him if it were too much trouble.

Appreciate the effort you went to Pete as I'm sure the other fellas who paid do, shame it all fell through.

I was considering this some time ago and decided to use a broker. The about of work they do for the price is well worth it in my opinion, he must have checked out 10 cars before we found one that was just what I was after and as Stinky Rooster said he will probably be able to assist you with compliancing back in Aus so you get to keep any goodies that come with the car.

I'm guessing my sale fell through as he's no longer answering my texts. Idlwld if you have agreed on a price man I suggest you post 'sold' as there's still a day left before the post office opens and you might find the same problem. Probably why forum rules state a price is to be displayed on a for sale thread.

Fair point I suppose, although I expect and am happy to deal with a business via email, phone and post. Most of my bike stuff is dealt with this way as there's not much up here - unless you know someone in Bundaberg? I'm able to take offset measurements and the like, I'd just prefer to use someone who has a bit of experience here rather than take it into General Engineering and Irrigation . I'm sure for many shops such as the one you have mentioned a job like this would be a walk in the park. Brisbane Lutwyche Rd nice white C34 aout 1000am today, I was in the silver series2

Ok so I pretty much have the rears sorted with a Brembo setup but am having trouble with the front. I have a set of Alcon calipers which need mounting brackets to be made and I can get a 343X32mm disk from either Alcon or Brembo but need hats made for them. I had a guy lined up who reportedly knows his stuff but it's taking too long to get started. Anyone have good personal experience with getting this stuff done?

As above. After a damaged or not working gauge from an RS4S from the dash or center console. Just needed to match the white back ground colour.

Yeah mate that's the one, the size was to suit wagon to 16'5". Keeping in mind that was for a C34 though. If you want to give one a try I dealt with a bloke - Paul Savoie and he was really good. He'll ask for the dimensions of your vehicle to make sure it's sized correctly anyway.
