  2. Hi guys, Recently stopped off at Nissan to grab some stuff and had a couple of pages from their program printed. Thought it may be able to help someone looking for these specific parts. I did try and search to find an existing part number thread as I'm sure I have seen one before but I couldn't find it, so mods could maybe move this?   6. On this note, How good are the K&N pods? I have 2 on my car, I don't like them, but they're enclosed so they don't bother me. Just don't want this happening..
  7. This should be stickyed. Why you don't use cheap pods, or were these name brands?... Either way that's some serious suction. I would say good job, but I don't know if this a good thing..
  8. It comes from both sides. Having come from driving a VYSII Clubsport, I had to deal with dickheads in V8's and Imports trying to race and on the funnier occasions, V6 with the most mang exhaust and stupid wheels lol, Now I drive a Mazda Bravo TD as my daily, no one tries to race me, I don't even get a second glance in it...
  9. I currently have a G27 for sale. $400, Comes with a F-1 converter to make it work on xbox. Used once, felt it wasn't for me. Will ship if necessary. PM if keen. Its brand new.. Open to offers guys, need some cash.
  10. Yer, both the same. Could both do with a rebuild. I pulled he rear turbo off and may have found a problem? The actuator rod was not adjusted at all, so the WG is free floating by about 3mm. You can wiggle it around and lift it off the seat.... Surely thats not right as the front doesnt do it. Could this be a helpig cause of my lack of power? Thanks Ben
  11. Got the rear turb off and the plate looks like the above genuine one... Could the front be a refurbed unit or something?
  12. I already plan it buy new ones. I ment how much would I put the on eBay etc. for? I'm not keeping these as they don't seem to have the balls to make the power I want. I will definitely buy new units, one unrelated question, may aswell ask while my thread is active. Would I have to change the actuators on the new -5's with the boost I'm running (1.5bar). I have a profec b ebc..? Do you normally upgrade the spring/actuator for 350-400kw's?
  13. Woah... I think I might work out what they are and stick them up for sale, I was going to change them anyway.. The seals are gone. What would something like these be worth, provided I find out what they are and taking in to account they need seals? Thanks for the help guys, had me baffled all weekend.. Ben

  15. That may explain the lack of power.... I was about 2 weeks off getting some brand new -5's... This is sorta good sorta bad news... Need to know if they're legit or what..?
  16. Tuned by RevZone (previous owner). Don't know how to tell if its a base map or tune, I would think it has a tune.. Max boost is 20psi/1.5bar. Dyno sheets do not have air/fuel on them..
  17. Hi guys, In the process of stripping down my GTR, to find out what I have and where improvements can be made. Stuck as to what turbos these are. Firstly GT2560R. Have read they are re badged 2860's? Does the 707160-0005 mean I have "-5's". If so why am I so down on power (306.5awkw) when considering its a fully built engine, 260/9.15 tomei cams, PFC, EBC bla bla etc... Could it be a poo tune? Thanks for the input guys. Ben
  18. Don't want to be rude mate, but these are not stock rates... My mate drift GTST32 is about as hard as mine, thing rides like track spec springs and I believe it handles insane, but I haven't driven another to compare. It would be very uncomfy as a daily, you can not physically push the car down at a corner at all, not even bounce it? Any Ideas? Thanks for taking the time mate. Ben

  20. I find it boring because all the cars are the same, it's always the same drivers doing the same thing, I dunno, that makes no sense but to me somehow V8SC's bore me.. Benm, I agree I definitely would be keen to watch Bathurst 12hr if they televised it, and as for getting out and supporting the scene... I'm in the market for a new clutch can not wait to get on the track for the first time..
